Blood or snow in scene wher Steele throws Balto?

i say snow caz when balto howls with aniu or when he gets up there is no blood.

According to these pictures, blood came out of Balto's head. There is no way snow can rise as if the ground was the sky and the sky was the ground. And I don't think that could be snow coming off Balto's fur.

It's another one of those animation mysteries. Although, Balto was on the ground when Steele grabbed his leg and threw him into that rock. Being dragged with such force, snow could have been on Balto's fur when he hit the rock. Who knows.

There wasn't any snow on the rock.. so how could it be snow?

The way it fell was like liquid droplets, and it splattered just like blood. I'm sure it is blood myself.. where could the snow have come from?

Probably it was snow stuck under his fur but it's sad when I he hit his head and it was blood.

It's another one of those animation mysteries. Truthfully, no one is right and no one is wrong. It is what it is, and cracking such a mystery only provokes more quesitons.
