I think you mean what would Kodi want. But you bring up a good point. How can one say if Kodi wouldn't want Dusty without first determining what he would look for in a girl?

Well, according to the animators she's with Ralph (I mostly favor the Kodi and Dusty pairing because it seems to fit on more lasting levels, and because it's part of the precedent for my fanfics). But I agree in one sense: dogs (and people) don't always have to be in a relationship with someone. Relationships do enhance life, whether romantic or purely social.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I mean, according to Phil Weinstein, nobody really discussed Kodi's sexuality (meaning he wasn't intended to be gay, though nobody really said he was straight either). So Kodi's love interest is completely up to fans to make up.

However, I'd also like to point out to you Kodi/Dusty fans that all these "romantic hints" you saw weren't really there at all. So you can say they're together in your fan creations, though don't go around saying that it is a fact, or that "the movie said so!".

I think there's one point to consider here: Kodi could possibly be neither of the things people say he is. In other words, he could be what's called a eunuch (if there's a problem with the term being posted here, please let me know and I'll remove it). There are some people, one of whom I know quite well, who simply have no attraction wired into their makeup.

I concur. I think its something everyone should agree with, really.

Well they do look cute together, and they just MIGHT make a good couple but I'm saying no for obvious reasons. If they are not so obvious, well it's because I prefer Dusty with Ralph. That scene in Balto 3 was so cute when it showed them cuddling after Ralph got splashed by Kirby.



Also, it seemed like Dusty liked Ralph more because she never did anything like that to Kodi. There was this video on Youtube about Dusty/Ralph that made me like the couple and relize that they were good together and I'd also say they are more official than Dusty/Kodi. No I'm not trying to bash Dusty/Kodi I'm just saying my oppinion and they do look cute together. ^^ Also, Catwhohas14tails has made me like Kodi/Kirby XD.
