Definately not one for the kids.

Well, this doesn't count in animation but its a kid's movie so:

In The movie Mouse Hunt the two men were going to get a cat to kill the mouse and this girl was walking out of the pound screeming. The mother made the girl get rid of the kitten. Right infront of the screen you saw the people take the kitten into a room and gass him. I was like: ZOMG &%$@ YOU!!! XD. And also in Mouse Hunt when the two men got the cat, the cat chased the mouse into a dumm waiter and the cat's wait broke it and the cat went flying down it and you heard a splatter. I was then again like: O Em GEE!! Why'd you do that you @#&%er! XD (sorry for language but yeah tis what I said. And it is covered so Happy Day!) XD

Fiver invisons a field of blood. Tonne of spoky imagery here too.
Violet is killed by a hawk
Bigwig is caught in a snare (lots of blood and a little vomit)
Re-telling of the Destruction of Sandlefoot Warren (lots of disturbing imagery, lots of rabbits dying)
Shot of Blackavar being viciously attacked
Blackavar getting his throat ripped out
Bigwig and Woundwort's bloody fight
Dog comes and rips open a bounch of unfortunate rabbits. Lots of blood.

That film is disgusting. And... you'll NEVER believe this, I went down to Tesco today with my friend for lunch, and I saw this movie on DVD. And it was a 'U' o.O Seriously. Like... I saw this movie when I was, like... 7? 8? And it scared the HELL outta me! Well... I saw some of it, and there was a wee bit of blood, and I was like 'this isn't so bad' But... when I saw that rabbit in the hole getting his throat ripped out... my gawd... it was perhaps teh most disgusting and frightening thing I've EVER seen! I'm 13, I can stand it now. But... it was so shocking and gross to watch...

This one is mostly just dark. Most of the violence is 'natural' (dogs killing sheep) so I don't really think that's anything 'nasty'.

Man shot in the face (lots of blood)
Shot of man's corpse eaten by Rowf and Snitter
Todd's death
Rowf and Snitters aparent "suicide" (depends if you read the book or not)

I just finished watching this film. It was awesome! But I hardly found it 'disturbing' There is quite alot of bad language, and the part when the guy got shot in the face. But nothing disturbed me. The scene when Snitter accidentally shot the 'Master' in the face could've been alot worse. It could've shown his face after being shot! Ughhh... *shudders at the thought*

Know what is funny? The onley thing that bothered me when I was little was the White Wolf on balto 1 XD It didn't bother me un till I had a dream that the White Wolf in anthro form (I didn't even know what that ment back then) Caught me in a forest and carried me over it's shoulder holding me by my legs. XD I then every time the White Wolf part would come on I would quickly run into another room, and ask if it's over yet XD But now it's my favorite part.

Awww that is so sweet! And funny ^___^ Amazing how dreams can affect young children like that.

Bless ^___^ xD

Hmmm...I got some more distubring stuff but now I'm not so put off by stuff. *cough* Has something to do with the Alien movies and the chestbursting and stuff. Uhh...don't ask.
When I was younger on Sleeping Beauty and the dragon was stabbed in the chest I didn't like it, because since I was two or so I've loved dragons.
Some just plain disturbing stuff:
Ed, Edd, and Eddie [Who ever made this must've been on a drug trip when they thought of it.]
Spongebob [A talking sponge...that lives in a place called Bikini Bottom]
Samuri Jack [Yes, on the advertisments I was put off by Aku as well]

Why does everyone hate Ed, Edd 'n Eddy? It was one of my favourite shows when I was little. Most people don't give it a chance.

Back on topic, I don't watch that much anime, (apart from Spirited Away), so I can't comment on that.
In Pinnochio, the scene with the donkeys I think is quite disturbing.
And Watership Down is definately not one for the little nippers...

Ok here i go:

Scooby Doo- Movies AND show. The original show was scary cause there was laughter in the backround, while i was like "Who Is That?". The movies were scary cause the gang might die (especialy in "SCOOBY DOO ON ZOMBIE ISLAND"). I freaked when I thought thet would die (and they would've). Thank Goodness it was only fake (for the most part.)

The only one I can think of is Wolf's Rain. Don't get me wrong I love that show, but when that kid feel of that building and (spoiler) where they all die at the end was sad and disturbing!

I dont think they were droplets of blood but splatters of snow-they look red because the sunset was reflecting off them.

As for all the other movies, Get real guys, though some of the posts do discribe things in movies that ar too severe for kids, many of things like these happen in real life. These movies arn't specially disigned for toodlers as are say; Bob the Builder or Thomas the Tank Engine. They are for older kids.
If we protect kids from everything slightly nasty, sad or disturbing then when they go into the real life they are going to get a hell of a shock-which woud be far more damaging and disturbing than the things in the movies.

And another thing,

What's wrong with a talking sponge, its only a story and as for the word Bottom if you dont let your kids hearwords even slightly rude they are going to grow up ignorant.

No offence meant to anyone, just my opinion on this topic.
