Y'mean love and caring between two individuals?

In any case, with this being a "kid-friendly" site, I personally think that what is and is not accepted should be up to the fanfic mod and what they think is acceptable for a kid site to display, with the final word coming from the admin (Steet)...if that makes sense0,o.

That tears it.

The selfish acts today of one person, and the misguided support of a few others FOR that person, have stripped me of the very last ounce of strength I have to put up with it.

I can't take it anymore. The pettiness, the double standards, the back-stabbing, the secret friendships, the melodrama...I'm sick of the way people act on here, and how IMPERIOUS some can be.

I've only been registered on this site for a day, but I've been a guest for a while. I never really knew the site had gone to pieces in only a matter of months. I know this post will most likely be ignored, but from the way I read it, it sounds like a lot of people like the nasty stuff, andonly a minority of the people on this site like the kid friendly aspect. I have to say, why do people do things like have gory and sexual stories, when Balto is a family friendly movie.

I'm not a fan of homosexuality, and I'm not sure I like the fact people pair Kodi and Kirby together. I mean, come on! Kodi is Balto's son! Why would you take an innocent, cute kid movie, and turn it into something Hollywood seems to put the spotlight on. This stuff just sickens me...

I would just like to put my last two cents in this topic. Some of you are complaining that you are disturbed by the fanfics and you annouce it publicly, constantly saying how much it hurts you that people would dare write a homosexual fic with Kodi. Imagine this, it also hurts if you are homosexual and you see these comments: It's disgusting! It's horrible!. That must hurt too don't you think? I know that's your opinion and you have every right to stand by it, I have nothing against that. But why can't we just leave it at, "I don't agree with it." instead of saying how disgraceful it is to you. I don't want to be flamed, I come in total peace with my comment I'm not intending to offend anyone or hurt anyone's feelings.

I agree with you 100%, and although my name says I just joined a few days ago I have actually been a member for a couple of years now, I asked steet to delete my old account due to account problems.

The reason why I don't approve of those kind of fanfics is not because of the gay content, it's just because of the sex. I don't care if there gay, bisexual, or straight, this is a childrens site and they don't need to be reading about that stuff. People can say 'Then they don't have to read it!' all they want, because they most likely will, just because the 'warnings' say their for 16+ can't stop people under 16 from reading them, but even if they do, that's the kids fault for reading it, not the authors.

I thought Catwhohas14tails' Kodi+Kirby fic (apart from the sex and gay content (no offence)) was a neat idea, until everybody started doing the same thing, and I don't have a problem with gays or anything but I have to say that it did give me a different view on Kodi and I haven't watched the 3rd movie since I read that, and it was my own fault for reading it. (I wanted to see what everybody was ranting about.)

Be thankful Steet doesn't allow (or never has allowed) ART like that on this site.

I also don't like the fact that if you disagree with the content of the fics then you are labled a 'hater' so I have never posted of any of the topics about them.

I have alot more to say, but I don't think you want to spend all day reading this. x3

I really planned to as of last night, Draco. But, surprise of surprises, Dingo and Salty wouldn't let me. They both intercepted me as I was making my final statements in the super-secret moderator shoutbox last night, and wouldn't let me leave until they had managed to draw me right out of the deep funk I was in, and convinced me to not give up.

It was just what I needed last night. Because I REALLY was going to leave. No b.s. And I'm still teetering on a knife-edge right now. And I don't expect any outpouring of support, or sympathies, etc. While they are much appreciated, and very kind, I haven't been fishing for them (or trying to act the shameless martyr, like some others have).

And the only reason I came back this morning is because those two were so cool to me. They didn't beg me to stay...they didn't dwell on why I was so depressed that I wanted to leave (so we each had no reason to discuss it)...they just did their best to cheer me up. And gave me something that SO MANY OF US are missing more and more in the midst of all this negative garbage (and fights about what is and what is not right for Balto Source): unstructured fun. Good friendly chatting.

So they brought be back from my own brink. I owe those two a lot...
