Minä haastan Suomi. (correct? xD took me some minutes... WITHOUT ANY GRAMMAR RULES!! I just looked at other sentences...)
I like to learn other languages that way ^^ it's easier for me than reading thousand sentences with difficult words =P

o.O in the dictionary it is "speak" xD
//Edit: I looked at an other dictionary and found "puhua"
the it should be: Minä puhun suomi
//edit 2: No idea if it is correct: Mite olet sinä?

If that's a French word, I haven't learned it yet, so I really have no clue what you just said. If that's an English word, I still have no clue what you just said. I'm hoping it's a compliment! I took five years of French, and I can tell you that I've never heard of such a word in the French lexicon. It doesn't even look like a French word (especially given the context in which SF used it). Is Z even in the French alphabet? That word looks like a bizarre mixture of some Romance language and German...
French is part of the "Latin Family" XD So French ain't related with German..

Oh yes...and there are many words in French with "z" in them (the French name of the English "zee" is "zed"). But that word is not a French word. The base form of many French verbs ends in "-er" (before conjugation), but that doesn't make this word a French one.

Meaning you're originally from Australia? How recently, then, were you transplanted here in the U.S.?

Okay...I didn't see this as a reason to start a string of jests. I was serious. Forget it. If you wish to answer questions seriously, let me know. Otherwise, I'm withdrawing from this conversation.

No...I am from a mid-Atlantic state: New Jersey. New England officially starts with New York.
