"Well I better be going!" Nate announced, but the man grabbed him by the back of his shirt. "Oh no ya don't!" he huffed and Nate snorted.

The door was answered by Heather's father, he paused and blinked when he saw his daughter. "...Hello Heather..." he greeted warmly, blinking a bit.
Nate peered around him and gulped when he saw Heather.

Nate grinned sheepishly at Heather, he shrugged his shoulders, "I was bored!"

Nate rolled his eyes then blinked and stood straight "Wait! What?! Attie's in the hospital!? Why?!"
Her father listened curiously, he wasn't quiet sure who Atticus was.

Heather chose her words carefully, she couldn't give anything away, "We were jumped at the park. The guy brought out a knife, Atticus got cut up pretty badly." Heather muttered, trying her best to forget the events earlier, "The hospital wouldn't let me stay the night, but we're going to visit him 1st thing tomarrow." Heather explained
