Ellis pushed through her oppressive words and continued, "I know what I did to you was wrong, but-"
"Will you just leave me alone?!" Carmen snapped.
He stepped closer, then went to grab her arm, but deciding he would like to keep his and kept it by his side. "No!" he answered, "I'm not going to let you hang this over me, over yourself, and over everyone else too. Listen, I know it ended badly-"
"Don't even go any further." Carmen interrupted yet again. "I don't wanna hear you talk. Unless you want the rest of your face melted, you should leave right now and stay out of my face."
Kyler grinned deviously and reached up to kiss him. She began pulling on his jet-black hair.

Ooc:// Thanks ^^ I thought they would be good together when I first created them, then I got this whole thing planned out in my head XD also, just a heads-up, I don't want to have this topic locked because of the ChasexDymitri thing, so I would tone it down just a tad... if it were just me I'd be fine but I don't want someone to report it...
Kyler chuckled a little too as she kissed him, now grabbing onto his black dress shirt and pulling him closer.
Ellis stopped to debate Carmen's offer for a moment, then he shook his head and looked her straight in the eye. "Do whatever you want to me," he said, "I'm just concerned about you."
"Sure!" Carmen angrily snapped back. "That's the exact thing you said before that whole ordeal."
"But I mean it!" Ellis argued. "We may not be together anymore, but I still care about each and every one of us, including you."

Kyler grinned up at him and batted her eyelashes. "I'm sorry," she laughed as she let go of his shirt. "I just can't keep my hands off."
Carmen growled loudly, crossing her arms and remaining turned away. "By 'each and every one of us' do you mean our group here, or all those girls who now know what your tongue tastes like, hm?"
Ellis stood there, speechless. He was about to say something, but then he just scratched the back of his head. "Okay..." he answered hesitantly. "First of all, I meant our group. Second, how many times do I have to apologize?"
"How about you stop apologizing and go away?"
"I already said I'm not leaving."

Kyler smirked at him, giving him a look that said 'Are you crazy?' "Oh really?" was all she said.
Carmen felt her anger rise higher than it ever had before. Just the memories, the fact that even though he broke her heart he wasn't going to leave, everything that happened just came crashing down on her at that moment. She clenched her red-hot fists, feeling them finally burst into full-out fireballs. She whirled on Ellis, shooting a huge, smoky fireball at him. "GO!" she screamed as she released it.
Ellis ducked this fireball just in time; he wasn't about to get burned for the second time in two days. He ducked it, then stood up again and gazed after it, watching it melt right through a huge tree on the other side of the clearing.

Kyler was very surprised when she deafening sound of a snapping tree broke the usual bird tweet sound of the lake. "What the-" Then, she spotted the tree that was about to fall... and it was about to fall right on unsuspecting Tara.
Tara heard the noise too, but when she turned around to see the oncoming tree it was too late. She built a forcefield of air around her, but the tree was too heavy. Beads of sweat rolled down her face as she struggled to keep the tree up... but it was breaking through the forcefield easily. "Someone help!" she cried, her face inches from the burnt wood.

Tara wiped the sweat off of her forehead, breathing heavily because the forcefield had used up all of her energy. She closed her eyes and stood on her hands and knees, facing the ground. She was too weak to speak, but she made a mental note to thank Damien as soon as she could.
Carmen rushed over quickly, kneeling towards Tara. "I'm so, SO sorry-!" she said quickly, holding her shoulders.
"I'm okay..." Tara forced out, choking on her own breath.
Kyler could only stand still, frozen in her spot, still processing what just happened.

Tara took a deep breath and leaned into Chase's hug, feeling too weak to hug him back. "I'm okay..." she said, regaining some energy. "It just surprised me is all." She buried her face in his shoulder.
The instant Damien looked unsteady, Kyler rushed over to him at top speed. She reached for him as he fell, and she caught his hand just before his head was about crash against the ground. Her hand clamped around his, she lowered him down easily and then knelt beside him in his grass. She put her ear up against his chest, and heard a heartbeat.
Carmen stepped back when Chase hurried over to Tara's aid, feeling selfish and stupid for what she had done. She stood back, silent, thinking over what the consequences could have been for her actions.
Ellis was soon at the scene as well, cleaning up the mess of the burnt flakes of wood by bringing all of them into a pile, using his powers. "Look what you did." he growled at Carmen.
