Charlie looked over to Lucky, "Lucky, whatever you do don't leave Nika she loves you very much." Charlie sighed wishing he could say that one more time to his parents and siblings.

Zero rubbed the big dogs back comfortingly. "You'll feel better if you come with us."

"I guess I will. Lucky you stay with Nika, Uncle Charlie will be back though." Charlie forced himself to get up and exit the room. He followed Zero down the stairs and outdoors.

"Alright Itch, where are we going?" Zero asked, since Itchy was the one leading.

Nika smiled weakly "We all lost our family Charlie, but look, we found a new one." She smiled brighter, happy to think of the group as a family. Then Nika snuggled Lucky "Yeah you better not leave me you little rascal!" Nika said playfully, like a mother would when she was playing with her pup.She groomed the top of his head quickley, annoyed by the small strand of fur that stuck up.She watched the others exit "Bye guys!" She waved goodbye with a smile on her face then turned back to Lucky "I think its time we both hit the hay, I have a date and you need your sleep." She picked the pup up by the scruff and carried him into their room.

Zero simply gave his usual response when something like this happened: Facepaw. "I can't really Itch, I dunno where everything is except the Fleabite and I don't feel like going among brawling drunks and worsening my bruises."

"Gotta go, hard to explain," Charlie rushed off to the docks to meet up with Ace. "Why hello there," he greeted Ace waving at him.

Zero looked from one to the other. "Don't you guys have anywhere else to go other than the Fleabi- huh?" he watched Charlie run off. "... Where's he going"

"... I'm gonna follow him, make sure he's okay." Zero said, glancing at Itchy. He wanted to hear what he had to say before he raced off, if he did wanna say something.

"I'll be back soon Itch, I promise." Zero said, taking off where Charlie went. He slowed down and hid when he got close.
