"No." SHay said, "But look outside." she pointed at the roiling mass of storm clouds rolling their way. "And the sirens going off." she said nervously, cupping her ear to hear better.

"Uh oh...that normally means there's a tornado warning in effect." said Jarret. "Let's hurry."

Shay nodded, trying to swallow her phobia that she had always had about storms. She grbbed her stuff that she had picked up tighter, the color draining from her face.

"Let's pay for this stuff quickly before we're in real trouble." said Jarret, hurrying towards the counter.

Shay stiffly dropped her stuff on the counter, unable yto be comforted. I dont think you can stop a tornado. Or a storm.Shay thought.

I guess.... she thought back, but she was still overcome by fear. She clenched her fists, hoping that it would end soon. As their stuff was checked out, she threw another worried glance up at the roiling mass of clouds overhead. "Come on Jarret." she said quietly, her voice still cracked from tension. She walked quickly outside and headed towards the car. As the wind bit into her and the rain pelted her, feeling like bits of rocks, she was glad they had parked near the store. She breathed a sigh of slight relief as her hand closed on the door handle, but it was torn away by the fierce, biting wind that swirled around her, tugging and pulling at Shay.

Relic opened the door and pulled her in, shutting it behind her. He gave her a towel. "Are you alright?"

Jarret jumped into the drivers seat and shut the door behind him. "Bad storm." he said. "Are you ok?" he asked Shay.

Shay shook her head, drying her hair quickly. She risked a glance at outside, where the wind was just picking up. "We should probably go back inside the store and wait till this is over. In the circumstances, I dont think they'll mind a dog in the store." she said nervously, wanting to get away from the car, which was starting to move in the wind.

"That isn't a good idea." said Relic, checking his computer. "Unless that store has a storm shelter, we'd best get out of here." he said. "A supercell is forming, there's a high likelyhood a tornado as Earthlings call them will form."

Jarret revved up the car and took off. "Alright, let's hope we can get out of here before we get into trouble." he said and headed down the high way. "Who knows, maybe Judas will get caught in the tornado."

Shay looked nervously out the window, tyhen quickly looked away as she saw the havoc the were wreaking outside. She tried to tune out the howling, shrieking wind the battered there car, threating to tip it. "We gotta get into a ditch or something." she said quietly, not trusting herself to sdpeak louder incase her voice cracked.

Relic looked at his computer. "According to this, there's an old abandoned farm house with a storm celler nearby." he said. "It's owners abandoned it years ago, it's uninhabited." he said. "The storm celler should still be safe."
