"No, no Storm, that's fine, happens all the time," she coughed, laughing as she stood up, shaking the snow from her pelt. Hearing paw pads on the snow, she looked up to see Slyth again and her tail started to wag. As he spoke, her tail slowed and she tilted her head and ears in a curious, questioning gaze. "Close, but no cigar," she laughed jokingly and continued, "C'mon Slyth, my name can't be that hard to remember can it?"

Storm smiled and then saw Slyth and started walking off. He made his way down the snow and into the boathouse. Balto wasn't there but Boris was.

"So you decided to visit your uncle Boris, hmmph about time too!" he grumbled.

Storm smiled and rolled his eyes.

Slyth's ears fell. Thinking back, he remembered then corrected himself "Im sorry, i must have been thinking of someone else. It's Blitz right?" He asked, feeling his back dampen as snow landed and melted on his fur. Walking closer up to her, she came into better view. He could see a bit of snow stuck to the fur on her side.

Storm heard fete and he tunred his head and he saw a large wolf staring down at him, he had black fur and grey chest fur.

Blitz grinned and nodded her head saying, "Bingo! You win! Although exactly what it is that you win, I'm not really sure just yet. How would 5 points sound?" She giggled a little and noticed that she still had a little bit of snow clinging into her pelt on the side and proceeded to brush it off with her hind leg, as if she was scratching an itch. "Oh, sorry if I got you a little wet earlier. I guess I fell asleep here next to the porch while waiting for the results on Storm and I go buried in snow. He uh...well, let's just say your little brother gave me a surprising awakening, hehe." Her sides ached at the memory of his weight, but in her mind, she was still laughing about that little incident. Her tail waggled playfully behind her, but her nose wrinkled as a new scent that wasn't entirely dog-like wafted to it on the breeze. But just what was it?

Storm gave a confused look as the wolf moved closer and closer towards storm, stormbecame enrvous and baked off more, he gulped as the wolf moved closer and then the wolf lashed at storm and smaked him acroos the face leaving storm with a large gash.

Chuckling slightly Slyth asked "jumped on ya didn't he? He used to do that to me every morning" He could remember the first time Storm had done it. Landing right in his pelvic area. After that incident he had started sleeping on his stomach, rather than his back. Looking around, he cleared his throat and asked "have you, er, seen Saba anywhere?" He could feel the blood rushing to his head and knew he was blushing. But he hoped Blitz couldn't tell.

STorm fell to the ground hard and tried to get up, he staggered to his feet.

"A messenger, and your coming with me, consious or not" said the wolf and he lunged at him again and storm dived out the way and bit his leg and the wolf howled in paina dn bit storms ear. Storm tried to get up as the fully gronw wolf pinned him to the floor.

She nodded, the smirk only growing. "Yeah...He didn't really recognize me as me, just as a mound of snow." She chuckled. "It must have snowed pretty hard to completely cover my dark fur so that he wouldn't notice." She looked at him curiously as he asked his question somewhat nervously. She looked into his eyes, a serious expression on her face for one moment and then it relaxed into a knowing, yet somehow silly, Blitz grin.

"You like her a lot more than just as a sister don't you? It's ok, I won't say anything, I promise, I'll let you tell her yourself." She winked at him, then continued, "But no, I haven't seen her today. I think-"

But whatever that thought of hers was would be left unspoken as her keen ears, and more than likely Slyth's own ears, picked up the sound of of a pained howl off in the distance. Blitz took one look at Slyth and the look in her eyes reflected one word: trouble. Without another thought, she raced off toward the sound of the howl, not knowing who it had come from or why, only that it had to mean something bad for them.

The wolf was ready to bite him again but he heard Blitz approaching and he grolwed and looked at storm.

"Ill deal with you later" he said and sped off leaving a bleeding Storm.

Slyth frowned, realizing Blitz had found out his secret just by looking at him. Am i that obvious? If i am, maybe Saba already knows. . He didn't have time to think on this much more because just then, Blitz's ears twitched. Standing up as if she was picking up something he couldn't.
The look she gave him next told him what she had heard wasn't good. Then she ran. Unsure, Slyth followed behind her.

Storm shivered, he felt like his heart was leaking as he coughed, he struggeld to get up and wiped the blood from his lips with his tongue and coughed again.

Blitz saw two canid figures ahead, recognizing the smaller one as storm instantly, but the black one was an enigma to her. She sped on desperately as he fled, her hackles raising as the potent aroma of Storm's blood reached her nose and her brain assumed the worst. She skidded to a halt in front of Storm and barred her teeth and snarled at the retreating figure, her brown furrowed into an intense look of fury that would give away her wolfen heritage to any who saw. Her tail stood stiff as a board in the air and she didn't relax any muscle, or move an inch until she was sure the assailant was gone.

Blitz then turned to observe Storm, eyeing the various injuries he'd sustained and the blood that was leaking slowly from them. She panted, regaining her breath and said in a tired way, "You alright, Storm?" She continued to look him over, her mind turning over the incident and begining to analyze it. Without really waiting for an answer to her first question, she asked again, "Do you have any idea who that was, or what they wanted with you?"

Slyth followed right on Blitz's tracks. The crunching of snow beneath his paws becoming more and more consistent. The acrid scent of blood reached his nose. Spotting his brother in a puddle of blood, he became worried. Angry at the same time. He wanted to get back at whoever had done this to Storm. Spotting the figure running off in the distance he growled and ran right past the two. Doing his best to catch up with the dark figure in the distance. The adrenaline running threw his veins boosted him further than he would have usually been able too.
