Alex nodded, "Naturally." she said with a flirty grin, she returned her gaze to David, " she looked over him. It was evident that he was hurting, but they had to be getting back. She gave Eomer one last smile before walking towards the door.

Eomer smiled some and waved her a goodbye as he opened the door and let her walk out. About an hour went by before David was back home, back to all his familiar people. Princess Anna was waiting in the castle for him when he limped into the front door. He could tell she was furious. "The southern kingdom!?" She exclaimed, "Have you lost your mind David!?" She exclaimed, glaring at her arrogant son. She had her arms folded tight. "Mom I-" David said, trying to explain. "No David enough with the excuses! Up to your room now!" She ordered, glaring at her son. It hurt to treat him like this but she would be firm with him. "Your confined to your room without dinner tonight, get washed up and get into bed." She said. David provided no argument as he sighed and nodded, limping past her and to the wash room.

Alex opened her mouth to defend David, but before she could say anything the conversation was over and David was gone. "My lady," she bowed. "It's my fault, we were attacked in the forest by that man and we ended up in the southern kingdom. I am sorry..." she said, feeling helpless.

Princess Anna stopped her, "Alex. I am trusting you with my son." She began, "You've got to be more careful than that." She said, looking at the younger female. She knew exactly how she was feeling. She actually was in that same spot back when she was younger. She took a deep breath. "You can go home now Alexander. David won't be joining you on any more of your troublesome adventures any time soon." She said, turning and walking away. The soilders stood outside the door, waiting. Anna walked to the kitchen and washed her hands. She prepared for dinner. Finally she had found a cook a couple servants. Knowing she could trust them. She wondered if Felix was okay.

Alex bowed again. She felt her heart sink, she turned and walked towards the door. She was saddened by this turn of events, but she knew she could do nothing about it. She was just a pawn, tossed around back and forth between her masters. She was well used to it by now, but she decided to visit David before she went.

David had gotten his bath and had the medics rebandage him again before he slipped into his sleep wear and slipped into bed. He sighed after a few moments and sat up, he walked over and opened the window. He sat on the window sil and took a deep breath, the cool air filling his lungs. David blinked twice in a row, leaning his head against the window. He sighed deeper, he didn't mean to get Alex into trouble with his mother. He knew this wouldn't be a good thing, since he needed Alex.

Alex slipped past the guards, back past them and towards David's room. She started up a tree near his window, planning on getting in somehow through the open window. She smiled at she saw him.

David looked over at the tree as he heard the branch rustle. Thinking it may be Robin back again. He grew uneasy but as soon as he saw that smile he knew that it was Alex. He looked over and signaled for her to wait a minute, he crept over to his bedroom door and locked it. He snuck back over to the window and motioned her to come in. It was easy to get into his room. It was on the highest floor, and he had a balcony.

Alex leapt onto his balcony, landing gracefully on her feet. She smiled at him, "I am sorry I failed at protecting you... your mother has removed me from the task and I am to leave..." she said formally, but sadly.

David looked at her, feeling pity for the poor girl now. "It's fine Alex." He said, when he caught word of what his mother had done it made him upset. "I'm so sorry to hear that." He said, looking her over. "As soon as I am off of punishment, we can hang out together once again." He said, flashing a half smile.

Alex gave him a slight smile. "I'd like that. I'll be staying at the Inn in town, or at the tavern. I'm not sure yet." she glanced past him and at his door. "I should be going."

David nodded, "Farewell." He said, his smile slowing fading away as he turned around and went to the bed. His mother was knocking on her door, she had heard him talking and wondered if he was okay. But most of all she wondered who he was talking to. Anna was growing impatient.

Alex smiled and slipped back onto the tree and climbed down, jogging down out of the castle. She bumped into Felix at the end of his rounds. But, she couldn't stop to talk, she had to get some work done.

Felix shook his head as he saw Alex hurry by before heading back up towards the castle.

David opened the door for his mother, who walked in uninvited. She took a seat on the bed and patted for him to come and sit next to her. She looked her son over before putting a hand on his cheek. "I love you." She said. David repeated the same back to her. "But son, that girl is not who you need to be with. She will get you killed." Anna said with a sigh. "David I'm sorry but I forbid you to have any further contact with her." She said, David growing angered.

Alex hummed softly, going by the royal stable to get Flame, she mounted him and trotted him back down into town. It felt good to be free to do as she wanted again, with no charge or anything, but then again, she did like David, he was a sweet prince, that was for sure. She rode to the tavern and paid a groom to keep Flame in the stable there and walked in, sitting in the corner.
