"Maybe, but I don't want you killed! Because if she kills you, I will never forgive myself!" He whispered.

Sadie nodded, opening her mouth to speak. She was interrupted by a familiar, chilling voice that sent a tremor of fear and anger down her spine.
"You're right, Sadie. It is better if you die," AI said, a menacing gleam in her eye. "I came so close during the battle...you were on the brink of death. At least I killed your pup."
Grief and rage clouded her judgement, and Sadie leapt at AI, jaw open in a fearsome snarl.
AI dodged easily, a smug grin on her face. "It awasn't my fault, you know. YOu should've taken better care of them."

"It WAS your fault. If you weren't so jealous of me, this wouldn't pf happened. Do you REALLY think killing her will make me like you? Well if you do, you are CRAZY." Rio said, then leaped at her and bit her in the neck very hard, and blood came out.

Ai collapsed, eyes losing a bit of their murderous focus. But she wasn't dead quite yet. "Juno would still be alive, Sadie. If you had protected him," she taunted, panting with the effort of staying conscious.
Sadie let loose a cry of incredibly grief and rage, ad lunged for AI. The wound in her neck widened, and Ai slumped to the ground, limp

Rio bit harder, and harder, wanting to kill her.
"This is what you get, for being jealous." Rio said.

For some odd reason, guilt consumed Sadie. Ai deserved this...right? But looking down at her enemy, she backed away slowly, shaking her head. Ai was struggling to breathe, dust matting her tan, sandy colored fur. The sight brought out sympathy in Sadie she hadn't known existed. Sympathy for a murderer...imagine that.
"Rio...no. Stop," Sadie said, white eyes narrowed and troubled. "Let go."

Rio let go, hoping she was dead already.
"Why did you want me to let go?" He asked.

"We'll be no better than Ai if we kill her," Sadie said, trying to make sense of her muddled feelings.
Rio's hopes were in vain. Ai gasped weakly for breath, and each shuddering exhale seemed like it would be the last.

"Lets just bring her to the alphas. I don't want to have the power of life and death over someone, not like this," Sadie said shakily.
