"A Lapras that takes Pokemon to Full Moon Island, Cresselia's home, was selling them in town today." said Glameow. "She takes Pokemon there to ask for help with bad dreams." she said. "Cresselia gives Lapras her feathers when she molts." she said. "Keep it were you sleep and it's energy repels bad dreams, not even a Darkrai can give you nightmares with that."
"Wow." said Martha. "That's a handy thing to have." she said. "We might want to keep one in our bag." she said. "In case we run into someone in a nightmare or something tries to use it on us."

Martha hung one of the Silver Wings over their bed. "Lets put the other one we were given in the bag, we only need one in our room." she said. "Who knows if it will come in handy but it'll sure make me feel better, a good luck charm so to say."

Cody shivered at that name. Cody then said after he got control over himself "Darkrai is a dangerous Pokemon. It makes you have very terrible undying nightmares that you can't wake up from. And you can become trapped in its nightmare and never wake up. If Cresselia doesn't come and free you. It is a evil Pokemon."

"Or so legend says." said Glameow. "Your badge fell out of your scarf." she said to Cody, handing it back to him. "Must of happen while you were searching for the hole Zigzagoon used." she said. "Anyway, that is the legend about Darkrai but the truth is, the nightmares are a defense mechanism." she said. "It uses its move Dark Void to put attackers to sleep and then its ability, Bad Dreams, takes effect, the idea is anyone that suffers this won't want to attack Darkrai again." she said. "Now I'm not saying some Darkrai aren't evil, I'm certain at least one is to inspire this legend." she said. "But the endless nightmares is only a myth...I knew a Darkrai." she said. "He protected me once when I got lost in Dark Crater. He explained this to me...and saved my life...and lost his eye doing so."

Cody said "Darkrai are evil, Glameow. You just met one that was really nice. When I was a kid, I met two and they were as all legends state they are. It was the worst time in my life. I was so scared and I was trapped in an endless nightmare. Then Cressilia came and saved me. She was beautiful and still is I bet." Cody shivered at the remembrance of the two Darkrai.

"I said some are evil but not all." said Glameow. "The Darkrai I knew lost his eye protecting me and he said there are other Darkrai who'd of done the same thing." she said. "Yes, there were two evil Darkrai you met but you can't base the entire species off that." she said. "They're misunderstood, if all the Darkrai were evil, why are endless nightmares so rare?" she asked. She then looked down. "Sorry...its just that Darkrai...I owe him so much so...I was...protective when you said that...I apologize."

Glameow nodded. "Anyway, Cresselia and Darkrai both have importent roles." she said. "Cresselia lets us have peaceful dreams but Darkrai allows us to confront our darkest fears in our minds so when the time comes to face them in real life, it will be easier." she said.
"I remember something." said Martha. "Humans have legends, the Sandman, who lets people sleep, and the Boogeyman, who torments misbehaving youngsters." she said. "Maybe a Cresselia and Darkrai inspired those myths."
