Bashkei tiltied his head up, sniffing the wind. "If the wind is coming toward us and Katie is coming in this direction I should be picking up her scent." he said, sniffing once more, before lowering his muzzle. "She must be farther down than we expected."
Having been following from a distance, Mammoth slitted his eyes. With out sound or words, he departed to give the news to his brother.
"Sooner than later," Goldie said, chuckling lightly.
"They look good on you, Mama." Katie said softly, getting out of the spring with a groan. She shook herself off in a haste. "They should be. Papa will probably pick up my scent soon."
Mammoth, having arrived at Mako's house, began calling out for Titan. "Where are you?' he asked, rounding the corner to Titan's dog house.

"Tai, think you could try to feel momma?" asked Lena. "With your powers."
"That's how things work." said Cachen, smiling.
Titan walked out, still stinking of skunk from where he'd been sprayed.

"I somewhat figured." said Bashkei, continuing to sniff around.
Tai nodded, warily letting herself unblock her mind. She concentrated, walking at different paces, in different places. "I'm getting a little buzz of something..."
Goldie nodded, chuckling.
Mammoth gagged, shaking his head as he met face to face with Titan. "What happened to you?' he asked, trying to hold his own against the stench.

"Or your daughter sense you." said Lenatei.
"Some random skunk sprayed me." said Titan, grumply. "And the mutt escaped!"

"Try and see if you catch her scent anywhere." said Bashkei, not wanting to leave Cachen out of finding his own Mother.
Tai tried harder, nodding slightly. "I think so." she stuttered from concentration.
Katie nodded, smiling proudly. "Could be. Now, let's try and hurry to meet them so they don't have to be too close to that awful house."
Mammoth shook his head. "I was listening to her rescue party. they couldn't scent her et, so she must not be far." he said, smirking. "so unless you want Mako to find out, you better go get her."

Tai concentrated even harder. She began to sway from side to side, before stopping in the middle. "This way, I think..."
"Ready to leave, Mama?" Katie asked, smiling lightly. She felt much better.
"What else?' asked Mammoth, eyes grinning crazily.

Lenatei nodded, getting out, though she wasn't wet at all. "Ok, lets go."
"I do not care at all." said Titan. "Do whatever pleases your demented head."

Bashkei chuckled softly, turning and nuzzling Lena. "don't be in such a rush--patience is a virtue."
Katie chuckled lightly, shaking her head. "Alright, Mama, let's go." he began to feel guilty, wanting to have taken Lenatei's pelt with her.
Mammoth had drifted out of his conscious mind, only able to see. Words lost him, as did his hearing. With his distemperment, he was prone to such blackouts.

Katie nodded, ears pinned back. " know, but to know he has it...and Aniu's, it just hurts my heart."
Drifting in, Mammoth turned a giant eye to his brother. "Hm? Say something?"
