Toby: I met a few people and their dogs from there. I think the idea of everyone doing all they can and only taking hat they need so everyone can have enough is great, but from what I heard the people who managed to get here from there say, I guess it didn't work out so well. I do think they shouldn't make people give anyway.


Pete: Eh, I ran into a grizzly that was pretty tough-lookin once.


Rex: As a matter of fact, yes. The chief rarely left his job, but every once in a while he would go somewhere to have fun, and whenever possible I accompanied him. It wasn't like Nome where setting foot outside is an act of neccessity or sheer madness.
Terry: Now, Rex, don't be such an old grump.
Rex: I've earned it, haven't I? Certainly been around long enough.


Terry: Of course. I want them all to live out full lives.
Rex: Although some of them, it seems, try to change the odds further in their favor by worry...
Toby: Dad!

Casper: How do you feel since your dad told you you would be a leader?

Rex: How were you feeling when you had to give Toby advice when Luna said she liked him?

Pete: Do you feel better about yourself now that you've stopped being a jerk?

Toby: If you were stuck on an island with no food or fresh water would you eat your foot?

Luna: How do you feel now that Casper may not try and do the stuff that Toby did(the stupid things, no offense toby)

Caspar: (sorry if I got that wrong) When your father told you that your gift was leadership, did you ever think about some jobs or adventures you could have when you grow up that involve leadership. Lead a sled team, lead a wolf pack, be like your grandpa and lead the police to bad criminals ect..

Caspar: I feel... well, really, really good. It's nice to know I'm finally good at something, and that Dad's proud of me.


Rex: To be honest, it made me feel kind of old. And surprised. It felt like only yesterday I was the one having romantic problems and now here he was with his own.
At the same time, it was good, as it always is, to know my son trusted me enough to seek my advice.


Pete: Yeah, sorta. I still feel bad about all the stuff I did before, but it helps that everyone's letting it go and telling me to move on.


Toby: [making face] What kind of question is that?
Luna: Yeah. Eating his foot would be a suicide move. Trust me, I've smelled those pwas before.
Toby: Luna...!


Luna: Very relieved now that I don't have to always be looking...
Caspar: YAAAHH! [jumping and grabbing her tail]
Luna: Ouch! ...out.
[Toby laughs]
Luna: You told him to do that, didn't you?
Toby: Uh-uh, hon, you are not blaming this one on me.


Caspar: Yeah, I've thought about it. I dunno what I'm gonna do, but I bet it's gonna be really cool!

DT: Are you going to write stories about the other puppies too?

Dragon Tamer: Of course. In fact the next one, if things go as I'm planning them, might be a double feature of sorts.

Toby- What would you do if Luna letf you for Pete?

Luna: Ew. If you hadn't noticed, he's a little old for me. He could be my dad, for crying out loud.
Dragon Tamer: Which, for the record, says a lot less in a species that ages so quickly.
Luna: I know, but it seemed to fit.
Toby: Anyway, to answer your question of what would I do, probably whatever it took to win her back.

DT: How long have you been a Christian? I'm a Christian too.

To anyone who wants to give their two cents worth: I recently heard a story, (I don't know if it's true or not) of a 78 year old man who tied hundreds of thousands of balloons to his house and floated off to South America to fullfill his late wife's dream of living by some majestic waterfall. What are your guy's opinions about this?

This one is for Toby and Luna. (Sorry if it was already answered, didn't look through the other pages.)

Since you two are parents now, are you perhaps finding that you miss the time when it was each of you alone? Before the pups? Currently, are you able to spend as much time with each other as you'd like?

Dragon Tamer: Oficially I'm obligated to remind you that this site has certain rules about dscussing religion. However, adressing the question personally, I've been one as long as I can remember.


Pete: Sounds like a real nutcase.
Rex: I don't know. Family aside, I wouldn't mind moving back South.
Toby: I haven't heard much about that, but from what Dragon Tamer said, it was a good movie.
Dragon Tamer: I'm not in much of a positon to comment, having seen only part of it. But from what I saw, the man had become very withdrawn since the loss of his wife, and he had to learn how to live again and connect with others. Kind of like Pete, now that I think of it.


Toby: Well, it has cut in a bit on our one-on-one time, but if anything, I'd say we're spending more time around each other than before.
Luna: Agreed. I admit, it's not the same as when we were alone, but I think it was worth the trade-off.

Everyone: If you had a universal translator that allowed you to talk to people, but its battery was only good for one hour who would you talk to and what would you say to them?

Caspar: What's a battery?
Toby: I don't know.
Dragon Tamer: It's something humans use to provide power for electrical devices. It's kind of like food is used to feed dogs. Once the food inside you is used up, you're hungry again. Batteries work kind of like that.
Caspar: Oh.
Angel: What's electronic?
Dragon Tamer: It's a long story. What Wolfdog's trying to say is, if you could talk to humans for one hour, what would you say?
Caspar: Oh. Well, I'd wanna eat from the table.
Melchior: I'd wann eat more.
Star: I'd ask why they expect us to leave home.
Angel: I'd wanna know why they won't let us eat chicken bones.
Balthasar: I'd ask them to be more careful where they step. A pup can get squashed down here.
Toby: (laughing) Someday you'll figure a lot of those questions out for yourselves. Personally, I'd like to have the chance to explain to Charlie about some of the things I do. Like when I was taking care of Loki and things got crazy. It would make it a lot easier to do the things I have to do if they understood a little more. And I'd want to tell them just how much they mean to me.
Luna: Me too.
