Kella looked at Maliha, then Alika. She was about to stay with Alika when she saw Kani following Maliha, so she followed him, too.

"Wait!" Bandia whispered. "Let's not attack! The easiest way to do this is to "befriend" them! If we pretend they are our friends, we have a much better chance of capturing them!"

'That's a good idea, Bandia!' Said Dhukiya. 'Okay, Damu, stop this. Let us be friendly!' She smiled.

Damu's expression seemed a bit dissapointed after he heard they are not going to attack. But followed Dhukiya's orders.

'Wait till they come this side!' Dhukiya said.

Maliha was pleased to see that Kani followed her straight away, and felt even better when Kella followed after him.She knew there was nothing to worry about.
Alika was disappointed Kani and Kella followed Maliha, but she supposed they were bound to. Kani and Maliha had pretty much been inseparable and Kella just followed Kani around.
"Fine, I'll just wait on this side," she shouted after the others.
Just as Maliha reached the other side she felt a twinge. Maybe she wasn't doing the right thing, but then she corrected herself. The Outlands were just an extension of the Pridelands and have been safe for years, haven't they..?

"Hello, my dears!" Bandia said as she slowly walked towards Maliha, Kani and Kella. "I'm sorry to startle you. I'm Bandia, and these are my two friends Dhukiya and Damu."

Kella shrugged. "Do you know these lions, Maliha?"

Maliha turned to Kella. "I have no idea... but they seem friendly enough. Even the hyena! There was a friendly clan some time ago, but I can't remember what happened to them."
Maliha stepped forward.
"My name is Maliha, and this is Kani and Kella. My brother is Taji, King of the Pridelands. What is your business in the Pridelands?"

Dhukiya went to her. 'Nice to meet you! Well, I'm Dhukiya. She is Bandiya and he is Damu. So you're the sister of the King?'

"I am indeed, although my brother is quite a bit older than me," Maliha said. "I don't understand, are you guys rogues or something?"

"I guess you could say that," Bandia said. "I left my pride a long time ago, and Dhukiya didn't have a pride. And Damu's clan left him."

"That doesn't seem right," said Maliha. "These lands belong to King Taji and anyone living here should've got permission from him. Should I take you up there to meet with him now?"

"Uh, Dhukiya...?" Bandia looked at her. "What do you think?"

"Maliha, I don't exactly trust them," Kella whispered. "Can't we just leave the Outlands?"

'Nope, you don't need to. Our family had been living here since they were cubs, so we have the permission. We just chose to stay here, because this place is filled with their memory.' Dhukiya lied and smiled. 'Well, why don't you come along with us? We could hang around or something, if you agree to be friends.'

Damu stepped in front. 'Yeah!' He said. 'And we won't let you go till we serve you guys with some food, your royal highness! That will make our friendship more better!' He offered. 'Can we have a meal together?'

"Well, do you two agree?" Kani asked Maliha and Kella. "They seem quite nice."
"But one of them is a hyena!" Kella said quietly. "My father told me to never trust hyenas!"

"Kella, they seem very friendly, and everything makes sense about their history. Why don't we just get to know them a bit more over some food? Or if you want to leave then leave. Find Alika on the other side and leave with her. You can leave if you want, both of you, but I'm staying."
Maliha headed towards the lioness who introduced herself as Dhukiya.
"I'd love to come and see where you live."

"But... Ugh, alright. I'll go with you guys," Kella sighed.

"Good!" Bandia smiled. "Let's go this way." Bandia said as she, Dhukiya and Damu began to lead the three lions.
