And also, i forgot to say, we have week and a day old kittens.
Again.
Because they don't know how to FRICKIN SPAY A CAT.

They ALSO got rid of two of MY cats, without ever even ASKING me, or even letting me KNOW.

Overall, I'm pretty frustrated with them on the term of cats. We have 7 frickin cats.

I wasn't asking to KEEP those two babies.
I wanted to SAVE THEIR LIVES.

Am I wrong?

I understand about your want to help the kittens. Were I in your position, I would want to do the same. I agree that it's very sad and I honestly am sorry that you were not able to help them. Really, I am.

However...

I can kind of see where your parents are coming from and I don't think it's quite worth calling them "stupid" and "greedy". 7 cats is quite a lot. Adding two more to the litter to care for and find homes for is two extra lives' worth of care, the time it takes to care, and the money it takes to get the means to do the caring (food, veterinary visits, etc.) Even if you weren't going to keep them forever (perhaps your parents didn't know that you didn't mean to keep them forever?)

Should they have gotten rid of your two cats without telling you? No. Would it have been a good thing to save the kittens? Of course, though it would've taken extra time, commitment, and money that could be better contributed to the family and taking care of your current cats.

Are you "wrong"? I would not say that you are. Like I said, had I been in the same position I would very much have wanted to help those kittens. I don't know what position you and your parents are in as far as time and money goes, and I don't find it necessary to know or ask, but as much as we all love animals, providing for people is (or should be) a higher priority than doing so for animals. It doesn't mean we shouldn't do so for animals--just that we should think of the people first.

My personal advice would be to (calmly) try to talk it over with your parents. Get their reasons for not wanting to help the kittens, share your reasons for the opposite side, and discuss what you both could do if something like this ever occurs again.

It's sad that the kittens had to die. But what's done is done. Instead of dwelling on "what-could-have-happened", look to "what CAN happen" in future situations.

Yea, I was in a bit of a haze of anger.
I could probably still find them, if I wanted. They said my grandmother's calling in the vet, but I think that's a stupid choice, seeing as if noone's keeping them, whenever she shows up, they might not even be there anymore.
Meh. I hope they're okay. They looked really awful.
