Adam chuckled, "I knew what you meant."

Sydney nodded, looking at her hands, humming quietly to herself.

Adam heard the bell ring and almost sighed with relief, just because the awkward silence was bothering him. "You ready to go to class?" he asked, he had no problem with skipping, since he and Scotty skipped all the time, but he didn't think she'd want to skip.

Sydney shrugged.
"I dunno..I think..imma just go home.." She said, gathering up her books.

"Want me to walk ya' there? I'm mean Scotty took his key with him, and I can always tell my teacher I was in the office." Adam shrugged.

"Oh, um, sure." Sydney replied, getting out of the car and slinging her backpack over her shoulder.

Adam followed quickly, closing the car door behind him, and following her.

Sydney walked quietly down the street, kicking some pebbles as they strolled down the raod.

Adam tried to think of something to say, but failed, so he ended up watching his feet while he walked, and humming to himself.

"Soo..whatcha'..hummin?" Sydney spoke up to clear the silence.

Adam blinked at her for a second, humming was a habit and sometimes he did it unintentionally, "It's umm... nothing, j-just a silly song..." he replied shyly.

"Come on Adam what's te song?" Sydney asked playfully, elbowing him.

"It's called 'Crazy Girl' by the Eli Young Band." he replied reluctantly.

((lol random song XD)

"Oh.." Sydney echoed quietly, walking into her driveway.

Adam walked her up to the porch then stopped, "I better get back to school." he said then added with a small grin "I bet Mrs. Williams missed me!...Oh well..." he shrugged, "See ya' Sydney." he said turning to leave.
