She let out a sob, but thought she heard some one speak inside the ward and stopped to listen. "did you hear that? i think i heard some one speak." she said, putting her ear to the crack.

Sam could just make out the words because they were being whispered. The she got up, ignoreing Rosys whins of surprise and went back into the ward, then she shut the door firmly behind her so that rosy couldn't get in. "what did you say?" she said, locking eyes with dante across the room. She knew she probably looked horrible with smudged make up and stuff.

Sam kept eye contact as Dante lay back. SHe walked over to his bed, with a face like she just couldn't believe what she had just heard. "do you really mean that?" she asked leaning close to him, so close she could feel his breath on her face. Her breaths were quick and rapid.

Sam leant down ever more closer. She was exactly one centermeter away from him now. "i love you too" she whispered. She felt her breath rebound and hit her face again. She leant even further and kissed him. The machine next to her started to beep very loadly.

Sam felt like she was on fire. She had only kissed one person before, and that wasn't an experience she'd like to remeber, but kissi9ng Dante was completely different. When she came up for air she glanced at the beeping machine. "Holy Moley! What happened to your heart rate?" she asked. She felt really happy, though a little worried about his heart rate.
