"You were asking for it, stupid. I said leave or I'll hurt you. You didn't leave." He rolled his eyes.

At that moment, Russet changed character again, into his normal self. "Dammit, not again!" He sighed and began walking back to Delilah and Julius. It was getting dark now. He wanted to see Delilah at least once before he left in search of a new home to stay while he was gone.

Russet didn't see Julius outside, but he flew through the doorway quickly and quietly. His voice was hoarse as he asked, "Julius? Delilah?"

Russet's eyes shimmered in the dimming light. "I..... just wanted to see Delilah." he replied simply, though it sounded strange because of his hoarse voice.

"Really? Seems to me it's in her interest." Russet smirked.

He sauntered up to Delilah. He licked her nose. "At least for a bit more." He turned to Julius. "Could you..... leave, please?" he asked.

"Of course I came back. I didn't say I wasn't coming back Delilah, I said I was leaving for a bit. I said I'd come back to visit, and I just did. But I won't be able to stay for a very long time. Or else, I might hurt, or even kill, you." His voice was a bit more rough on the last few words.

Russet shuddered and growled a bit. He felt himself slipping back into his darker side. "Would you rather die?!" he snapped.

Russet growled again, taking a step forward, closing the gap. "If you die, explain to me exactly how you'll spend more time with me if you're in heaven!"
