"I know," Kodi said. "Because I also know that you can hit way harder than that." He smiled at his little sister.

"Good...oh and don't worry, there aren't any skunks on the island, at least not so far as we've encountered." said Aleu, smiling, remembering her siblings telling her the twins had trouble with skunks.
Ana laid down. "Yeah, I love you big brother and would never want to hurt you."

"But we do have porcupines." said Aleu.
Ana nodded and yawned, getting sleepy. "I'm sleepy Kodi."

"It is late," Kodi said. "Go on and get some sleep. I think I will too." Kodi ended this with a long yawn,

Aleu nuzzled her baby sister. "I love you sis."
Ana giggled. "Alright Kodi." she said and laid her head on his back. "Nighty night."

"I love you too," Maria said, nuzzling Aleu.
"Good night," Kodi said with a smile. He licked Ana;s cheek as a goodnight kiss.

Kodi laid his head on his paws and drifted off too.

"Ready to go to sleep honey?" asked Aleu, nuzzling her mate. "We've still got a lot of work tommarow."

"She'll be fine," Canyon said as he nuzzled Aleu. He curled up and laid his head down to sleep.
