THE LAB

“Well Sweetie they can test stuff that humans use like medicine or stuff to make them look better.
They don’t test it on humans before they use it can it harms them, so us animals suffer instead;” Onyx said.

Aleu cold hear poor Loggen whimpering and saw his eyes watering and his trembling body.
“Hey pup my name is Aleu, lick my tail it’s got water in it and It should make you feel better. I’ll be your friend too, maybe even your Adoptive mum!”

“Ah Aleu I think your motherly instincts are kicking in” Suki said she looked at Loggen “ A mean human kicked you around a bit you must be hurting all over!”

"I wondered if he had killed you for a few minutes actually Luke Said but you lived, you must be strong".

“Thanks Suki!” Aleu said then she remembered a song shad once heard “Sound the Bugle now”* sang it softly to Loggen.

“Poor pup” the moved dog said he smiled at Aleu; a kind and loving Wolfdog It sounds like she had a mate, a boyfriend at any rate he wondered if he would have a female in his group who would like to be his friend.

Shakira looked at Loggen, why did humans have to be nasty to animals? She told Zane about what had happened to Loggen.
She remembered some wolves she had once met outside New York City about 6 months ago just before she and Kolt had been captured. Their names had been Black, the male and his mate Shadow. Shadow had been pregnant how the birth had gone and how their pups were; wondered Shakira.

"Humans; some of them are just so nasty" Zane said in a controlled voice so as not to scare Loggen.
"But there are some who are OK." He was angry; that man didn’t have to kick the pup he thought.

THE LAB RESCUE GROUP

“Your absolutely right Kolt and Macy; Ok off to the lab” he said, he trotted of towards the lab Just then he heard a big loud bark then a lot of angry barking.

“What was that?” Asked Skull as he fell into step next to Nuka.

“Riley sorting something out to help with the lab rescue, she’ll be fine don’t worry about her!” He said loud enough for everyone to hear.

Everyone nodded their understanding.

Solo stood up and shook, yawned then smiled at Millie.

Millie stood up and returned his smile then smile at Cana “want to come with us Cana?” She asked the pup.

Papi stood up and followed Nuka making sure Cale and Loki were following him.

Loki had been playing with Cale but quickly followed Papi and smile up at the big husky them looked at Cale.

Cale was right next to Loki his tail wagging fast “yeah I can’t wait to help with the Rescue!”

“Nor can I” Said Zeke who had been napping but was now wide awake, “we have to save them from those evil humans!” he said.

Rocky got up too and trotted along with group its great to be moving again isn’t it Star? He asked the Samoyed with love for her in his eyes.

Yes and I’m rested now Rocky she replied smiling lovingly at him, a saw the love in his eyes.

Dodger was of course, trotting along with the group Tanga beside him “this will be s great adventure for all of us!”

“Quite” Tanga said trotting along on her long legs, “So many dogs I wonder how many more will come back to central park.

Shay smiled at her beloved brother “I’m excited it will be great to help those poor lab animals” she said.

“Indeed” Duncan replied I’ve always wanted to help other animals less fortunate than ourselves!

Prima had to trot along quickly to keep up with others she listened to their conversations.

Columbus ran along with dogs purring, I wonder how many cats will be there? the cat thought

Kau was at the end of the group along with Toa they knew the way; and made sure none got lost. He smiled at his mate “not far now!”

Toa smiled back at him “yep nearly there” she said as they trotted across the wasteland.

Just as they arrived at the lab a big cloud went over the moon plunging them into darkness.

“Halt” Barked Nuka.

A couple of minutes later an inquiring voice said Hello?

Hello whoever you are Nuka replied; then the moon came out!

Kolt Nodded "Thank you, Nuka." He kept Quiet.

Sadie Hushed. She didn't wanna make any noise.

Paw leapt onto her dad. she watched in shock.

OOC 1: Woodland Park and the Lab are near the outskirts of NYC-near where Black and his family live!

THE LAB RESCUE GROUP

All the dogs and Columbus were very surprised and confused at the sudden appearance of Half Black!
But soon they got over their surprise-so many strange things had happened that night!

“Hi Black; um Please Half black keep quiet-ill explain in a minute” Nuka said.

“Hi Black I know you, we met you just over 6 months again-and your mate Shadow, She was pregnant so Half black is the result?” Skull said.

“Can Shadow come quickly? Nuka will explain why!” Said Rocky

“Hi Black; Halfblack you must run very fast” Tanga said.

THE LAB

Shakira had just finished explaining about the rescue to Zane. “That’s wonderful I can’t wait to get out of here, not as much as the rest of you though I guess!” Zane said

Then they all heard the others outside all the dogs were very excited!

“They’re here!” Aleu said excitedly she looked back at Loggen; “Pup?” She asked.

“And my beloved brother Kolt will be here soon” Shakira said excitedly.

“Wow that’s some fight going on out there ……..It’s Percy the guard dog” Said Luke.

“I hope the other dog doesn’t get hurt too badly in the fight” said Suki.

The Moved Dog And Onyx was silent but excited.

And outside the Night Watchman snored through everything, even the howling of Halfblack and the fight between Percy and Riley! Several empty beer bottles stood next to his chair.

Senidy was so happy she could jump around screaming, 'YAY! YAY!' but that would be childish. she smiled to herslef and whispered, "yay, yay!" excitedly. so many lives have been lost in that lab . . . . time to set alive ones free!

OOC: We are not in the lab yet, Nuka will say when to go in, but the dogs can se the Night Watchman through the fence of the Lab!

THE LAB RESCUE GROUP

Dodger could see the sleeping Night Watchman through the Lab fence, He grinned, and several other dogs including Sadie were laughing quietly or grinning too.How can he sleep through Halfback’s howling and the sounds of the dogfight even if he has drunken a lot? Wondered Dodger.

The sight of the Night watchman and the beer bottles made Zeke uneasy, and reminded him of his abusive drunkard owner. “That could make him more dangerous or reckless and harder to get into the concrete shed and keeping there. On the other Paw he may be sleepy and go to sleep in there”
He said to Papi

“You could be right Zeke” Papi replied smiling reassuringly at the Corgi Pup.

“Or on the other paw he could be drunk enough to drag to the concrete shed without him waking up” Toa said.

“Maybe we could get him onto that cart near his chair, I’d doesn’t have any sides, so it should be easy enough to him onto it” Kau said.

“Don’t Forget about the other guard man-the one Kart mentioned” Loki Said.

“Good ideas everyone” Cale said laughing.

Dodger, Zeke, Papi, Toa, Kau, Loki and Cale were sitting near Sadie!

half black stoped howling "i'll go and get mother" she told black.

black looked at skull once half black had left "yes she is the result" he then looked at them and growled "she may be half black and white but if any of you hurt her in anyway i can't be held responsible"

shadow woke up to see halfblack in front of her "yes my dear what is it" she asked startled.

half back looked at her mum "we need to help some dogs help other dogs" she told her mother

OOC1: Tomorrow I will post Nuka’s quick explanation to Black and his family about Aleu and the Lab Etc. it doesn’t quite fit here!

OOC2: I nearly forgot. The night watchman is nicknamed Stinko!

THE LAB RESCUE GROUP

Nuka smiled when Paw jumped onto his head; the big husky was sitting right next to Skull.
“Thanks halfback” Nuka said as she ran off then he turned to Black. “My name is Nuka, and I am the leader of this rescue group-more on that later. Be reassured we are friendly; none of us will hurt or attack Halfblack or any other dog, wolf or animal first. And we will also fight with you to help protect her and any other good animal; I trust you and your family.”

Papi looked at Kolt and Sadie “We certainly have no intention of spoiling your fun with the other watchman and never did. All we offer is help and advice if you want or need it but I’m sure you can cope perfectly well by yourself Sadie.”

Tanga, adoptive mum of Zeke looked over at him and smiled, he would be fine with Papi and the others.


Zeke went up to Sadie and put a paw on her leg, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to annoy you, Sadie-or you Kolt. It’s just that my owner who I ran away from a few hours ago was a drunkard- he abused me, I know what people like that can do, and I was a bit scared” he whimpered; a single tear ran out of his eye glistening in the moonlight.

Meanwhile Toa and Kau had gone over to Senidy to talk to her. "Hi Senidy" Toa said, "as you have seen Stinko is drunk, and may not even wake up while you get him into the shed! We will be out here guarding the puppies but if you need any help Papi, Skull and other dogs will be available. Is that OK with you Senidy?"
