"Actuelly its a she Kai." said Balto.
"How do you know that?" asked Cachen.
"Well..." said Balto, unsure how to explain it to pups. "I'm not sure how to explain it."
"That might make him know its blocked." said Lena. "And maybe he has something to unblock it." she said.

"Well," Kai smiled "Whatever it is, I can tell it's ahead of us, and not by much!"
Tai nodded, looking a bit concerned. "But we have to watch out it doesn't attack him," she said to Lena.

Well, let's hope we can. Jenna's thoughts were a bit unnerved, she nodded. "I'm sure. How big can this thing be?"
Tai nodded, ears pinning back slowly.

Balto nodded but was unnerved as well. "Hopefully we won't have to fight." he said. "I hope we can just get through without fighting.

"You, you don't know if we have to or not." said Jenna, stuttering. "I'm not meaning to be negative but, what if we do need to fight? We don't know what this thing is."

"Well then we'll probably have to depend on our wits." said Balto.
"We'll get out of this mess, we're smart." said Cachen. "Alright, we all got skunked but oh well."

Jenna sighed, looking a bit pale. oogh..., she shook her head. "I don't know, but I think we're getting close to the avalanche."
Tai nodded. "you never expect that..."

"Stop." said Balto, sliding the sled team to a stop. He barked to Mr. Samson urgently.
"Nor porcupines." said Cachen, smirking to his brother.

Balto barked to Mr. Samson urgently and pointed towards the blocked passage, letting out a wine to show he was concerned.
"We're danger prone aren't we?" asked Cachen with a chuckle.

Mr. simpson nodded, getting off the sled and coming around, inspecting each dog to make sure they were okay.
Tai nodded, giggling. "Very much so. But I think we're used to it by now."

Balto whined to Mr. Samson and pointed to a large paw print in the snow, he could tell it was from the animal they'd been smelling.
"Yeah but you can never get used to skunk spray." said Cachen. "Procupines aren't very fun ether."

Mr. Simpson's eyes widened, touching the prints with one hand. He turns pale.

Balto whined to Mr. Samson, basically telling him we've got to get out of here NOW.
"Amazing how animals defend themselves though." said Cachen. "And skunks do it without hurting you, they're just stinky."
