Alex narrowed her eyes in determination, meeting his blade with hers. A loud metallic clash echoed through the forest as she blocked. She retaliated, quickly pulling her sword away and swinging it downward the strike.

Robin dodged her attack, slamming his sword down against her's again and this time punching her in the face. He knew he soft spot to hit that would cause the most damage. The nose. He fought with great stealth, speed and strength. He was still determined to kill David, and this girl wouldn't get in his way. David gripped his wrist, panting.

Alex felt the blood run down from her nose when he hit it. There was a sickening crack, but she ignored it. She'd broken her nose many times growing up, in fist fights and close combat. She blocked one of his attacks and drove onward.

Robin sliped from under the blade moments before combat. He slid between her legs and jumped up behind her. Robin kicked her legs out from under her and pressed the blade against her neck. David was off to the side, trying still to get up. Robin put his shoe on her chest to keep her still. "Now now, wouldn't want you going anywhere." He said, pushing the blade down a bit harder. David reached over and grabbed Robin's leg, throwing him off balance.

Alex grunted, rolling out of the way and jumping to his feet, lifting her sword and pushed Robin over, a scowl on her face. She held her sword to his neck this time, she glanced up at David.

Robin smirked and swung his word over, slicing into David's side. David screamed, gripping his side and rolling onto his back. Robin pulled his sword back again and pushed the blade forward again, right into David's bloody hand. Robin twisted Alex's foot and threw her off to the side, he used a birdcall to signal his men to come. About 60 men rushed out on all sides, they grabbed Alex and David.

Alex struggled against her captures, trying to get free. Her struggling earned her the hilt of a sword to the head, knocking her out cold.

David went quietly, not struggling or fighting against it. He could see the other men taking the horses along with them. David blacked out. He woke up in a kingdom far down to the south. He knew because they were currently at war with that kingdom. People walking by sneered hateful words and cursed at him. David could only blink. He knew this was bad.

Alex woke, a terrible headache making her wince in pain. She blinked, her whole body aching. She felt shackles on her wrists and she was in a jail cart. It didn't take long to figure out the kingdom, she'd been here twice and both times gaining honor for her name. She knew she wouldn't have much of a problem getting out of this, the problem was getting David out alive.

David looked over, seeing the rear end of a horse. He shook his head, not a very good view. The southern kingdom was a very beautiful kingdom. He loved the kingdom but he didn't like the people there, just because they despised him. One guy walked up, ranting and raving. He banged his fist against the cart and yelled in David's face. The cart turned and began to clatter down a side street.

Alex sat up, leaning back against the bars. She saw David on the other side of the jail cart and sighed, he knew the people wouldn't be too nice to him and she could hear the shouted insults at him. She sighed, her headache making it hard to think properly.

They soon arrived at a very well guarded and secure jail. Tossing David inside along with Alex the guards stood outside the door and waited. They kept a watchful eye over the steel and wodd door. David looked over at Alex and sighed, "I'm sorry I've gotten you into then, Alex." He said and loooked over at the wall. At least his head wasn't bleeding anymore.

Alex shrugged, "It's alright, I'll get us out of this." she said. She rubbed her forehead, feeling exhausted. She stood and pounded hard on the door. "I want to talk to whoever's in charge." she demanded loudly.

The guard turned his head, "Hey shut up." He growled. "You'll talk to someone soon enough lassy. But till then you can keep your big mouth shut okay? Your day to be hung will come soon enough. Along with Sir Nerd over there." He said, pointing at David with his sword. He laughed, someone with some bland tasting food walking by and throwing it inside to them.

Alex narrowed her eyes, taking a step back. She sighed, "Idiot.." she mumbled under her breath. She knew she could get herself out in an instant, as soon as she talked to the commander or someone she knew. She crossed her arms, prepared to wait.
