Angelica caught Arthur's glare and jumped a little, it caught her off-guard. She looked at Brooklyn as she suggested they get some sleep. Angelica just nodded. She was feeling rather sleepy. So many things have happened to them, it was no surprise she was tired. She saw Xander come up to them, and smiled at him, however she noticed he seemed a little sad. Angelica still kept quiet.
She didn't know where to sleep and she didn't even realize how she leaned against Jack, feeling her eyes close. "Goodnight." She muttered to the rest of them before she fell asleep.

"It seems that they have fallen asleep. What about going now?" Tom suggested and got glared at by both John and Oscar. He wasn't the brightest of the bunch, but he was a hard-worker and rather honest.
"We're not doing that." John spoke to the other man, carefully observing them, "They are not stupid, someone's awake." He said as he watched one of them move. He couldn't see who it was due to the darkness, but it didn't really matter much. John suddenly got an idea of how to get to them.
"Robert," He addressed the strongest and tallest out of them. "Walk by the river towards the left. The forest is even deeper there, from what I know of, but it assures you're not going to be seen. Cross the river only when you're sure you're out of their sight." He instructed, and saw the other man nod. Robert was about to walk off, but he was interrupted by John again.
"I haven't finished yet," The man whispered. "When you're done, check out if that part of the woods are safe, hide somewhere and call us. We'll tell you what to do next." John spoke and saw the man walk off.
"Let's wait now." He whispered.

Jack smiled as Angelica started talking about his and Arthur's charms. "Well, first of all, thanks." he answered, chuckling. "And, if you want to know the truth..." he began, and then whispered into her ear so no one else could hear. "...Whenever it was about Arthur, I am always siding with you. Well, you know a bit of why exactly am I disliking him, but it's not just that. There's...Something else I dislike about him that I can't figure out just yet...Meh, I guess I'll wait and see." he smiled as he finished speaking, then he looked at Brooklyn who suggested everyone to go to sleep. He surprisingly wasn't feeling tired at all. He got a little surprised at first when Angelica leaned against him, but then just smiled. He looked back at Riley who was sleeping in a tree. He stared at her for few minutes, then sighed and shook his head. "Why am I so lost now?" he thought, then layed his head on the snow, and just looked into the dark water, thinking.

Arthur had no dreams, as usual. He woke up at his que to be on second watch, just in time to see all three figures gone. He looked around, feeling proud as to beig the only one who could really see well in the dark. He poked Alfred to wake him up, and once he stirred, the Brit pulled out an excuse.
"Alfre, could you wath for a bit? I have to...use the bathroom?" he said a small blush creeping across his face. Alfred nodded and yawned, watching Arthur trot off into the woods. Once entered he began looking around for any sign of the scientists.

Brook watched Arthur get up to take second watch and she lay down near the fire to keep warm. The ground was covered with snow so it was pretty wet and cold, but at the moment she was to try to complain. Brooklyn watched Arthur say something to Alfred and then walk out into the dark forest. She raised her eye brow, but then laid back down from her sitting position and curled up trying to get warm. She watched the flames of the fire flicker before her eyes and was put in a daze. Brooklyn was almost asleep when she noticed Arthur hadn't come back yet... maybe she should go looking for him. But Brooklyn stayed were she was watching were Arthur went into the forest.

Arthur wandered around the woods for a while, before hearing some whispering. He paused, then decided against returning to camp, he wanted to know who it was and whT they were talking about. He slipped behind a tree, quietly listening in.
Back at camp, Alfred was falling asleep again. He didn't want to disappoint Iggy, so he tried his best to stay awake.

I thought I wasn't going to sleep, but I was wrong. As soon as I let my eye lids drop I was out like a light. I'd been told that I snored a bit by my mother, but I didn't care if the other's heard or not. I didn't wake up, I didn't dream, nothing.

Jack soon felt his form changing again, and sighed. Now he realised that he wasn't angry at the scientists at all, at least at Christine. Sure, they did make them bleed or feel pain, but...He felt that he now was fond of his animal form. It gave him power, many new things that he could've never done when he's only a human. He actually felt rather proud of it.
Just as he remembered Christine, he looked into the dark sky, and sighed. Surely, maybe she was the root of his problems, but now he wondered how is she doing. She probably just forgot about him the second they left, she had so many to deal with anyways...Jack didn't realise that he started to smile. He remembered that young, pretty face of hers, those pretty eyes... He lowered his head: he shouldn't be thinking about her anyways. Instead, he focused on his sleeping friends. And the awake ones.


Only few hours left after that crew of teenagers left, but, as much as Christine didn't want to admit it, she missed that guy, Jack. The one she was always used to call 'the pretty boy'. She was now sitting alone in the same room where she had taken Jack first. She chuckled as she remembered all the times she called him 'pretty boy' , and his angry expressions, which looked so cute to her. She looked around, and sighed. She wanted to wipe all the thoughts about Jack from her mind, forget him. He was just another kid, after all. But surprisingly, she couldn't. Different memories were running through her mind, and she just couldn't stop smiling. Has she actually liked him more than just a victim for her interesting experiments? No, she couldn't admit it. And she never would.
Christine then stared at the bottles of different liquids in front of her. She sighed, and walked out of the room, ready to experiment with another teenager.

John didn't realize he was walking back and forth. "Come on. Be quicker." He thought, his impatient side showing up. Why did he wanted to use that girl so much, anyway?
He felt his head beginning to ache. "Why did I even got into this stuff..." He growled. The other two had simply looked at him, Tom with confusion, but Oscar...Oscar had his usual snark face on. Why did John want to hit him in the face so much, wiping off his smirk?
He felt his mobile phone vibrate in his pocket.
"Finally." The man sighed, putting his bony hand into his pocket and picking up the phone.
"Rob?" John began and waited for the bigger man's answer.
"John, the forest is definitely not deeper here. What are you thinking?" He heard the voice of the man. He could feel anger in it. What's more, he could feel fear, extreme fear in it.
"You...You'll see. Walk closer to them, so you can watch them." John commanded, his expression not saying a word about what he's thinking right now.

"Are you crazy?" Robert whispered, concerned for his own well-being. "There's no way I can hide!" He didn't even realize how he said it louder than he intended.
"You'll find something. Promise me you'll stay there." John told him, this time acting out sympathy in his voice. But it was not real. Or was it?
"I...I promise." John heard that he was hesitant, but John knew that Robert was the kind of person who didn't break his promises. He was a nice and a honest man, unlike John and Oscar.
John pushed the red button again, breaking their conversation. He put the phone in his pocket and turned to the other two.
"Follow me, now." He whispered, and instead of going along the river or crossing it, he started heading back. He could see the confused expression on Tom's face, he could feel the man wanted to ask him something but was hesitant to do so. Oscar, however, was mildly irritated. He did not want to obey John. Then, John made a turn and instead of going left like he told Robert to go, he went right. He had a slight knowledge of that part of the forest, and it was full of advantages to them - high and large trees that never lost their leaves because they didn't even have them. They were mostly pine trees with a large amount of needles that blocked anyone's sight of them, even if the person was in a very high position, watching them from the sky.

John walked slowly. He finally heard one of them speak. Unsurprisingly, it was Oscar.
"Very nice of you to leave him as a bait and a scare at the same time." The man commented, and only then Tom had realized what John is going to do.
"Why did you choose Robert, not Tom?" he asked, knowing it would probably be his first choice.
"He never breaks his promises. Plus, he's less bright than Tom is, and he's got more muscle. If anyone attacks him, he will survive. He's also more of a scare than Tom would be." John explained, noticing the slight glare that Tom has given him.
"Ah, I understand. But Tom will not benefit us now, eh?" Oscar joked as he followed John through the forest, laughing just slightly.
"He probably won't do much help, but we can't underestimate him that much. Plus, it's the only way I can even start the plan." John shrugged, feeling the glare tense. If looks could kill, John would probably dead more than once.

Angelica woke up, feeling the person she was previously sleeping near change. She noticed that Jack wasn't a horse anymore. She blushed a little, being so close to him now. Angelica decided to find a better place for sleeping, but then realized she'd be best of sleeping nearby another person, with more warmth and such, so she only cuddled up to him.

Arthur's breath was caught inhis throat. He ran back to camp, not caring how much noise he made.
"Everybody, up. NOW." he barked, ou of breath.
"The scientists...they're close. Ones too close, the other three are just up ahead, we need to move.". He panted and Alfred shot up.
"Ohmygoshwhatdowedo?!" He asked, all in one breath. Arthur paused, his mind working on what he had said.
"Leave." he stated simply.

Brooklyn jumped even before Arthur entered the clearing. She kicked some snow on the warm fire, putting it making it much darker so the scientist wouldn't see them as well. She was about to lead the way when she looked into the dark forest. She'd always secretly have been scared of the dark, but never wanted anyone to know. It diffently felt much colder and everything was so much darker than before when the fire was going. Brooklyn looked back at her friends that getting up in surprise. Brook gulped and backed away some, bumping into someone, but not knowing who it was in the dark.

I was awoken by Arthur's yell and the warm glow of the fire suddenly gone "What th-" I murmured, rolling over and falling out of the tree. I landed on my side and rolled "Ah s***" I cried holding my arm "That's like the 4th time today that I’ve fallen" I groaned, still clutching my arm, "D*** it I think I broke it...This is gonna' put us SO behind, I’m so sorry, aw d*** it that hurts... Gah!" My wrist was twisted weird and felt like it was on fire. I frowned and struggled to my feet, but my wrist hurt too much and I hadn't eaten anything in days. My body was deteriorating fast, I couldn't go on, I was too weak, too tired.

Ooc: I understand how the found out about Robert, but I'm a little confused about how they saw John, Tom and Oscar. They didn't cross the river yet nor they're walking by the river. They headed back and only then turned right, so they won't be seen. I'd be thankful if someone explains it to me :3
