"We need to get there fast. Very fast! How far are we now?" Rio asked.
"We are still a couple miles I think. We can probably still make it before your pups are killed." Grant said.

A familiar voice made Sadie whirl around, her heart pounding furiously.
Ai stepped out of the shadows, the slightest scent of blood on the air. "Only three pups are left now," she chided.
Sadie felt like she would faint; she got tunnel vision and her legs went weak. "No!" she cried out, grief freezing her muscles in place.
Ai tsked like one would to a young child. "You should've come sooner." With that, she disappeared again, leaving before any attacks could take place.
Sadie trembled, her grieved howl ringing through the air. "No," she repeated softly. She had caught the scent of blood; and to her horror and despair, she scented Juno. Her young pup, who tried often to be brave and "protect" his siblings...could he really be gone?

Ooc:// Am I still predictable, Rio?

Ooc:// Yes, he actually is...
--------
Sadie, instead of collapsing, stood upright, her frame frozen. The only movement she gave was trembling, her eyes burning. "No..." she repeated again. It seemed to be the only thing she could say; uttering Juno's name was too painful.

Ooc: What for?
--
"Looks like she won. Nothing we can do. Soon all of them would be killed and we have nothing we could do. Might as well give up. With everything." Rio said, still crying.

Ooc:// To add more emotion, along with suspense.
---------
Suddenly, the fire of anger and determination blossomed inside of her, washing away most of her grief for the moment. "No," she said suddenly, anger flashing in her white eyes. "We will not give up. There are still my other pups, Rio. We can't just let them go." A soft growl ripped through the air, a result of her emotions. "I'm going to personally rip the life out of Ai myself," she snarled softly.

Rio started to loosen up.
"I agree. I will be right there with you. We do not want any of our other pups killed, we need to get there! Fast!" Rio said, with optimism.

"Then we should leave right now. Grant, you lead the way. You know where the cave is, and that'll get us there quicker," Sadie ordered, not bothering to ask politely.

"Okay." Grant said, and started to go toward the cave.
Rio followed him.

Sadie's breaths came harshly, each exhale short and heavy. Ai has caused too much pain...she'll regret it, too.

"We are getting close to the cave. I think we are about a quarter mile there." Grant said.
"I hope so. Ai will get what she deserves!" Rio said.

Rio spotted a cave in the distance.
"Grant, is that the one?" He asked.
"Yeah that's the one!" Grant said.
They all ran to the cave and walked in.
"She is farther down the cave. I will wait here, and you can go look." Grant said.
"Okay then." Rio said.

Ooc:// This is going to be very enjoyable.
Sadie brushed her side against Rio's, a gesture for him to follow. She padded deeper into the cave.

Grant, at the entrance at the cave, Kicked the wall, and then rocks came crashing down, caving Rio and Sadie in.
Grant chuckled.
Rio heard the noise.
"Wh-What was that?" He asked.
