"Gretchen..." he hiccuped, and paused to think. "...McCoy... Gretchen McCoy..." he sat up and hiccuped again. "You... Southern bell... You..." he blinked his glassy brown eyes, as he slurred his sentence. "I am not drunk!" and after that he fell back to the ground.
Tennessee was quiet, then she giggled and jumped down off Nash landing beside Kentucky, who was staring dreamily at the sky. Tennessee kneeled down next to him and kissed his nose. She knew he wouldn't remember anything, and that was fine. "You're still just as adorable as ever, ya know that?" she drawled, with a smile.
Kentucky blinked slowly "Uh..." was the only acceptable answer he could think of, but it made her laugh.
"Good enough." Tenessee giggled, laying down and curling up next to him.
Behind them, waiting patiently to go home. Louis and Lex watched. Louse tweeted happily and flapped his little red wings, happily flying about Lex. Lex just snorted, flicked his stubbly bobbed tail, and swiped a tounge over his paw to clean his whiskers. For my friend, she's a strange girl, who's obsessed with anime... And she thinks I'm a good writer... XD
