Jullian could help but wriggle. He felt as if he would blow up like a balloon if he didn't scream. "Yeah!" he shouted.

Russet growled, and the "Yeah!" fell short. His ears pricked up, but he heard no hooves hit the ground in scurry.

Lia growled quietly and whispered, "Way to go, Fluffy."

Jullian looked at her with his lip curled up, but nothing more.

"Stop you two!" Russet snapped in a hushed voice. "Now, watch your paws, and make sure you move no rocks or twigs or drag your paws."

Lia and Jullian did so.

OOC: I just realized I shifted somehow into Lia's part, which was supposed to be yours. Mind if I just continue to play her?

"Now, watch me, young ones, and watch my ears for the sign I'll give you when it comes time for you to enter," Russet whispered wisely and showed them the sign, his ears went back and snapped quickly up again. "Are you all ready?" he asked, this time giving Jullian a stern glare.

Jullian nodded, embarassed.

Lia nodded. "Yes Father."

Russet smiled and then looked at Delilah and Julius. "Delilah? Julius? Are you ready?"

OCC: Let's just say they came along, lol. xD

"Wait in the mist, just keep your eyes alert for my signal, pups." Russet looked at the elk herd before him and picked a weak, dying one to attack. It would be easier and the natural order to pick the sick. He looked to Delilah and Julius and nodded for the attack. He made the first charge and sprang for the first grab of the throat.

Russet let go and jumoed to the side. His ears went back and then shot up, signaling the pups. "Don't grab the legs, they'll kick you!" he yelled. He then charged back towards the elk, nipping and sinking his teeth into the rump.

The elk kicked and stopped in place abruptly. Russet fell with a thud. "Keep moving Dee, don't get lost! Just follow if you don't want to attack!" Russet coughed and was panting heavily. His eyes were wide with fear for Delilah and the rest of his family, for that elk had knocked the wind out of him for a moment. He was lucky to still be able to limp back toward the family.

"NOOO!" Russet trembled, weak. His head was spinning and he had no energy to help his son. He fell to the ground, in shock.

Jullian went back to Keano. "K-keano?" he stuttered. "Are you okay?"

Jullian whimpered and looked at the wounded leg, which look twisted and was started to bleed a bit. He then looked at his father. "Father!!" He ran over to lick his father.

Russet stirred. "Jullian?"

Jullian nodded.

"What happened.." he asked faintly.

"I-i don't know. Is Keano alright?" Russet stammered. He winced as he remembered his son's fall.
