"So you're my dad huh?" asked Balto smiling. "Glad to see you again." he said. "Wish it was under better circumstances than you getting dognapped by Mako." he said. "And me getting shot."
"Should we go out and make sure everyones alright?" asked Dusty, cringing at the pain in her shoulder.

"I hope Iron doesn't mind a new son." said Dusty.
"I missed you." said Balto. "All I had were memories, you know?"
"Iron..." said Aniu, appearing behind Iron, finally able to show herself to her former mate.

"Yes, its me." said Aniu. "I was the one that guided our extended family here." she said. "I also stayed by your side through this, I couldn't bare you to suffer alone." she said. "And I wanted to say...I sorry for never getting a chance to say goodbye to you." she said, eyes showing deep remorse.
Luke's bushy tail wagged happily. He saw Aniu, as Dawne, Steele, and Balto could also. This was because he was a pup and pups could see spirits more easily than adults. "Momma, whose the pretty wolf?"
OOC: IS it ok if we say Aniu and Iron had another pup Balto and Dawne don't know about? A female? To set up a sequal.

Luke walked over next to Iron. "Hello Aniu, I'm Luke." he said and then looked at Iron. "And guess what? Your my papa now." he said, smiling to Iron.
Aniu chuckled. "Well you're just a cute pup aren't you?" she asked. She then looked at Iron. "I had to protect our pups from a hunter and died doing so."
"Wait a second, pups?!" asked Balto, suprised. "You mean I wasn't the only pup in my litter?"

Aniu nodded. "Nava took them to safety." she said. "He didn't know where you went or else he would've just given them to you." she said, Nava had been a friend of theirs.
"Nava?" asked Balto. "My daughter Aleu runs his pack now." he said. "Are you saying some of the wolves there might of been my brothers or sisters?"
"No, they aren't with him now, he gave them each to someone diffrent that would protect them. That's how you got with Boris." said Aniu. "But they're alive and well."

Balto watched the humans finish fixing his shoulder after removing the bullet. "Well I'd like to get back to my mate, she's probably worried sick, and she's pregenent."
Dusty nuzzled Fang. "I love you." she said.
Luke wagged his little tail. "I'm just happy to be loved."
"Well Mako is in prison, probably not going to get out anytime soon." said Aniu. "But there is more in store for this family in the future but I'm afraid part of my job is to leave you with the questions to find answers to." she said. "Goodbye my family, we will meet again." she said and howled, disappearing into snow that blew away despite there being no wind.

"Me too." said Balto. "Dad...would you and Dawne come to Nome to visit us?" he asked. "I'd like you to see mine and Steele's mates and my pups." he said.
"You've already met me and Cain." said Fang. "Kodi and his brother's are awsome."
