Alfred shook his head, and hugged Riley. "No, no Riley Arthur is crazy! He always gets crazy around Francis..Francis visited when I was here, and Arthur nearly told me to get out, until he saw Francis kiss me! Dirty pig..RIley, you..you have to forgive him.." Alfred said.

"But I don't think I can..." I cried into his shoulder. Happy to have my hero hugging me. I hugged him a bit tighter and cried a little harder "Alfred you weren't there... You know how scary he can be when he snaps like that. Alfred I was so sad and scared he told me to get out, I had no where o go" I bawled harder

"Shhh, im here..Im amazing and awesome and HERE!" Alfred said happily, rubbing Riley's back. "Riley..Arthur is just really messed up. His family, you just dont know how hard his life has been, and when hes under pressure, he goes crazy!"

"Arthur's only had boyfriends, so he's real real confused about why your so emotional and stuff."

I frowned and hugged Alfred a little tighter, unsure of how to respond to him. Arthur had only boyfriends before? I didn't know how to react, I just hugged Alfred. He was my rock, my everything. If I lost him, I didn't know what I'd do. I gulped, the lump in my throat going away slightly, but still very much there. I forced myself to pull away from him and I took a shakey breath and looked at him "Alfred, you're so good. I love you" I said hugging him once more, the meaning behind my words just slightly stronger than a brother / sister love. I started walking downstairs and saw how broken Arthur was.
"I'm sorry Arthur. I love you. I always will, and nothing will ever make me stop" I muttered crawling next to him and looking at him. I wasn't sure how he'd react, I hope he'd take me back.

Alfred smiled, hugging Riley back before she went downstairs. Ian sat, still trying to get Arthur to calm down, but giving him some tea. When Riley came down, and sat next to Arthur, the Brit just hung his arms around her shoulders and pulled her closer to him.
"Please don't ever do that again.." He whispered, his voice was shaky.

I nodded "I won't...I'm sorry..." I muttered, wrapping my arms around his middle and resting my head on his chest. I shook a little then sighed "I;m so...so sorry...I am...It's my faul...I'm sorry" I choked, feeling myself shudder.

"No." was all he answered, his grip tightening on Riley. Ian had wandered upstairs, and Alfred stood awkwardly watching them,

"Okay..." I whispered, feeling his heartbeat next to mine. I wanted to say I was sorry, even more now. My heart ached, I didn't know what to do. I turned my head towards him and looked at the tears in his eyes. My heart ached so much more, and I shuddered. I brought my lips to his and laced my fingers through his hair. I breathed in his sweet scent and tasted the sparks on his tongue. It was a bitter sweet taste, a taste that I both hated and loved. A taste ot betrayal, and renewal. But I was hoplessly, and unconditionally, addicted to his taste.

Arthur sighed and kissed Riley back, trying to memorize every bit of this moment; the way her hair felt as he fidgeted with it, the way She smelled, of...alcohol and that 'good 'Ol Riley smell'. He smiled slightly, and then Alfred cleared his throat.
"Again, keep it PG kids." The hero joked.

I broke away the kiss at Alfred's voice and grinned at him "Sure, sure" I said, giving Alfred a thumbs up and smiling a little wider. My head spun a little, and I remembered I was still slightly drunk. I cringed at the pain and shivered a bit. feeling goosebumbs paint my skin. I winced at the sudden wave of pain and cringed a bit more "I think I'm getting sick..." I moaned "That. Or a hangover is kicking in" I added gloomily.

"Hangover." Alfred answered, laughing slightly. Arthur had gone quiet once more, string at his brother Ian, who'd come downstairs with all his bags.
"I've gotten a call from work.. They're shipping me to Italy..I have to go." Ian said, and with that, he left.

I looked at Ian, then smirked "Pasta!" I exclaimed, though I regretted it after a spinning headache forced my eyes shut "Cr*p...have fun in Italy Ian" I muttered, burrying my face in Arthur's chest. "Don't ever let me drink agaaiinn!!!" I moaned, feeling my head spin a little faster. I shivered, the pain becoming more acute. This was defintaly more than just a hangover.

Alfed laughed at Riley again, then went to start making some coffee for her as the sun began to sink into the grey sky. Arthur sighed, his green eyes a bit brighter now that Riley was safe in his arms. He watched the sun go down and then the coffee maker beeped, and Alfred brought Riley a cup.
"Here ya go!" The American piped, grinning.
