Sadie shot a discreet look at Grant, then turned her white gaze back on to Rio. "You and I will go after the pups. Grant will hold Ai off, as she'll be taken by surprise. She thinks he's dead," she explained.

"I see. Well, lets hope Grant takes care of her once and for all. I don't like being hunted." Rio said.
"I will try my best." Grant said.

"And the hunter becomes the hunted," Sadie murmured under her breath, inaudible to anyone else's ears.

"I really wonder why Ai wants to kill us so badly. I really hate her." Rio said.

"While she may hate me, I don't hate her," Sadie said suddenly. She was surprised at herself, she had every right to hate Ai, didn't she? "I mean, yes, she's tried to kill both of us way too many times. But I think she's really just confused..."

"I see. But, what would she be confused about? We all know she turned bad because of me..." Rio said.

"Confused by jealousy," Sadie elaborated. "She wanted you, Rio. But then I took you and she doesn't know how to react. So she used violence."

"Well maybe we would of better off if we never even met. You wouldn't have to deal with her trying to kill you if we never even met..." Rio said looking down at the ground.

Sadie was shocked. "Rio, don't ever say that. You're literally the best thing that ever happened to me. Besides, our packs would still be warring with eachother if we hadn't met."

"Maybe they would still be warring, but... I just feel I am the reason for all this bad stuff is happening." Rio said.

"Rio, did you try to kill me?" Sadie asked suddenly. "No. It was Ai. None of this is your fault at all. It's only Ai's," she said.

"I guess so. I guess I shouldn;t be so negative. Well, if we succeed with this, we won't have to worry about her any more." Rio said.

Sadie nodded. "I sort of wish she had died during that battle..." Rio would know the one she was talking about. It must've been tramautic to see her close to death, her throat bleeding. "Then we wouldn't have to worry about her now."

"I would agree. If she was dead we wouldn't have to deal with our pups almost having to die. We have no idea if they are still alive or not." Rio said.

"They're probably alive," Sadie said, looking at Grant for a brief moment. "But not for much longer."
