Sadie winced, and let out a soft whine as the healer's nose touched the ragged flesh.
Kya immediatly wihdrew her nose. She was glad she had brought alot of cobwebs and oak leaves. She began chewing the leaves up slightly, and placed the wadded cobwebs on the ground. Her mouth exploded with the bitter flavor, but she just winced and kept chewing. Finally she spat it out, and used her paw to rub it on her minor wounds and gashes. Soon they were covered with cobwebs and oak leaves. She satred at the throat. It seemed hopeless to try and fix it. But it was her job as a healer to try anyways. INstead of rubbing the oak leaves onto the wound, she only i=binded it with cobwebs, making sure to be gentle.
Sadie yelped as it touched the large, gaping wound, but tried to stay still, knowing it was the matter of life and death. "Thank...you," she managed to whisper.
kya blinked. It wasn't often she got thanked. "Your, erm, welcome," she said. She finished binding it, and barely heard her patients next words. "How bad..is it?"
Kya wasn't sure what to say. Eventually, she decided to be honest. "It's pretty bad," she admitted. "But you're strong, and young. You'll most likely make it."

"We need to get them to the Den." Kya said. The Den was where they put their patients who were unable to sleep next to others, due to them being ill, and it was contangious, or they might get excited, and irritate their wounds.

Kya nodded. "Thought it was," she muttered under her breath. She slipped Sadie onto her shoulders, glad she was used to this, and Sadie was slim and light.
