Russet smiled at Delilah and then looked down at Keano. "You're up! What is it?"

Russet frowned, "What's wrong? You sound like you're afraid to talk to me."

Russet sighed. "It was nothing.... besides, everything's better now. Don't worry..."

Russet smiled. He licked his son's forehead. "Love and loyalty, always... that's the number one law for pack wolves. To trust that everything is fine... to love, even during feeding time," Russet joked. "And as part wolf, you'll follow that law as well, right?"

"Well, time to test that. It's time for your first view of the world of a wolf. Time to hunt."

As Jullian heard the word, hunt, he shot up. "We're going hunting?!" He tackled everyone and woke them up.

Lia growled, "What?!"

Jullian yipped, "We're going hunting!"

Lia's ears perked and she got up slowly.

"Trust me Delilah."

"Very well then, I think it is time you learn of you wolf side. On we go!" He nudged them out the mouth of the cave and padded through the eerie mist.

Russet peered out at the land and sniffed the air for the smell of elk. When he found it, he found a carcass, alongside the main scent trail, but a bear gnawed at it's remaining bones, showing all that it was his.

Russet found the primary hunting grounds and whispered to the young wolfdogs behind him, "Are you ready? Be quiet, too, we don't want to startle them. Be careful with your paws. Watch them and what is under them."
