Aurora nodded. "Be careful, that storm is pretty awful."
"This hurts..." moaned Ana, clinching her teeth. "Now I know how you feel when this happens."

"Only it's about ten times worse for guys," Kodi said.

Aleu followed with her mate. "I hope everyone is ok!"
Ana whimpered, standing up, though her legs were still wobbly. "Ow...now I'm really sorry I stood on you there before."

"You heard Aurora," Canyon said louldy to be heard over the wind. "Everyone's fine!"
"Hey, the past is the past," Kodi said, standing up as well.

Aleu nodded. "Good!" she said, getting soaked.
"Is that why Rosie told me if a male tries to hurt me to kick him there?" asked Ana, not knowing this would probably be suprising and akward to him.

Canyon chuckled, not really knowing why. "We're almost there!" he said, spying the cage.
"Um, yeah, good advice," Kodi said. "When did she tell you this?"

Aleu nodded. "I hope this storm blows over by morning!"
"When her boyfriend rudely dumped her but before Dingo used that stinkbomb on him and his new rude girlfriend." said Ana, giggling. "That was funny." she said.

"It will," Canyon said. "Storms like this don't usually last more than one hour or two."
"Yes, very funny," Kodi said with a chuckle, glad of the change of subject.

Aleu nodded. "Yeah, but its the damage it causes that worries me!"
"Yeah, he stunk for two weeks!" said Ana, laughing. "His owner was so mad! He got like 80 baths!"

"As long as the river doesn't flood, we should be fine!" Canyon said back, thinking of the fresh water river that split the island in half. They pack had never gone across the river.
Kodi chuckled. "Yeah, and his owners didn;t know what to do when the tomato juice didn;t work."

"We're above the flood line, so we'll be alright." said Aleu.
"Yeah, they washed him in everything they could find." said Ana.

"But the prey may not," Canyon said grimly.
"Remember when they tried bleack water, and all they did was bleach his fur pure white?" Kodi asked with a laugh.

"Good point." said Aleu. "But it'll know to get to higher ground."
Ana fell on her back laughing. "Yeah! That was funny!"

Kodi laughed harder. "Man, we've had some funny times."

Aleu nodded. "Hopefully, they've survived bad storms before." she said, smiling.
Ana nodded. "Though a bunch of them involved me or Maria getting skunked or porcupined."
