Charlie led her to a place in the woods, that eventually was wide open-spaced, the sound of rushing water could be heard near by. "Cmon, this place is real neat." Whispered Charlie. They came to a place with waterfalls, and lush green grass, this place was so full of life. "Race ya to the falls!" Shouted Charlie playfully as he made a dash for the waterfalls and jumped into the stream, the water was perfect temperature, and there were no dangerous rapids.

Cheska plodded off under his favorite tree. It was an old snow covered pine tree with shade and a few heavy pine cones. He tried to enjoy the day without the heat and drama. Soon he drifted to a gauzy dream.

But soon he realized it wasn't a dream---it was a nightmare. He found the fog clouding up the sky. It was so thick it made him cough---it wasn't fog but smoke. He tried to find the direction the nauseating plume of smoke came from. At that moment he realized the orange glow of streaming light---fire. And it was coming his way. He glimpsed only for a moment his jaw dropped in awe. The he turned his head and squinted his eyes trying to look throught the smoke. He coughed once more and ran. He didn't know where he was going but it was better than waiting for the fire to hit him. Soon the fire came to the ice with him. It cracked the ice underneath him.
