Cynder got off of Zelda and sat down with a loud thump, feeling very drained all of a sudden. 'I'm sorry' she mumbled quietly, feeling very embarrassed.
'We need to reverse what the Guardians have done, they have killed a lot of people and if we can save them then we should try' Spyro said firmly, sending a sad glance towards Cynder.

'Well we could just use that one couldn't we?' Spyro said, but the words Kar had said came back to him. 'I don't think we should use the portals anymore, you heard what...well what those things were saying through Kar' he said, glancing at Cynder.

"Don't worry, a pet of mine can help us." said Midna. She whistled and a huge, mutant bird flew down and perched behind her. She jumpped on top of it. "Anyone want a ride?"
"She's a beast master." said Link. "I don't think there's a wild creature on Earth she can't tame." he said. "But we can't use that one back there, we need to use one with a diffrent tone." he said. "I learned a lot of my moves from the spirit of a hero that I called with that stone, I think he's the same hero I'm descended from."

Spyro watched the bird curiously, wondering how Midna could possibly tame a bird like that. 'It's fine Midna, me and Cynder can fly as well as any mouldy old bird' he said, taunting her a bit out of fun.

"True but Link, Zelda, and Lucas can't." said Midna. "Anyway, we've restored your friend here but how do we get him back to your universe since we can't use the portal?"
Link thought about it and got an idea. "I have an idea, he's only effecting reality because he's connected to Malefor." he said. He drew the Master Sword and touched it to Agent 9. A dark crystal appeared out of him, the physical form of Malefor's magic. He swung around and shattered the crystal with his sword, destroying it completely. "There." he said. "Agent 9 isn't connected to Malefor anymore, problem solved."
"Smart Link." said Zelda. She looked to Cynder. "The thing Malefor put in you looks a lot like that crystal."
