"So she was one of the ones that saved my life?" asked Dusty, smiling. "And almost every other dog in Nome."
"And kick his butt!" said Lena.
Cachen giggled and licked her cheek. "Its something, you're a great sister."
Lenatai nodded. "And at least he isn't near invincable."

Kodi nodded, smiling. "A way's away from Nome she took Lena's place on the sled."
Kai couldn't help but laugh at his sister's exuberance.
Tai giggled, snuggling her brother softly. "And you're a terrific brother."
Katie nodded, looking about and sniffing. "I smell water close, probably a small ways into the forest line." she said, her muzzle pointing forward and into the evergreen trees.

Dusty nodded. "She's an energetic little thing, brave and kind too." she said. "She and Cachen are perfect for each other."
Lena nodded. "Well bite his butt, whichever comes first!"
Cachen nodded. "Papa! How far are we from where we're going?"
"And the trees smell will help cover the stink." said Lenatai, joking.

Kodi nodded. "I'm glad they are. I only wish I had met their mother at their age." he looked at his son, blinking. "I have no idea, Dad?" he asked, now looking at his Father.
Kai laughed, still loving his sister's energy.
Goldie thought for a moment. "Hmm, maybe another day and a half I'd say." she said, thinking about it.
Katie stuck her tongue out at her Mother. "like you've never had to have a scent like this in your nose before-and from me." she remembered when she had first gotten skunked.

"I think Goldie is right Kodi, seems like it." said Balto.
"Good, then soon we'll get momma back!" said Cachen, happy about that.
"Can't argue about that." said Lenatei, smiling. "All pups get skunked sooner or later."
OOC: I checked and actuelly, there are skunks in Alaska!

Goldie giggled. She liked seeing Cachen happy.
Kodi nodded, looking at Cachen and Goldie.
Katie shook her head, rolling her eyes. "The sooner I get to the water, the better."
OOC: I had a feeling ^-^

Balto smiled. "They're cute togather."
Cachen smiled. "I love being a hero like the rest of this family. Just to help people, its great to help people."
"Mako will learn he's messed with the wrong family." said Lena, smiling. "Right Kai?"
Lenatai nodded. "Well water should be this way."

Goldie giggled, her tail wagging rapidly. "You'll always be a hero in my eyes, Cachen, no matter what happens!" she said sweetly.
Kodi nodded. "they are cute together."
Kai nodded, smirking lightly. "Right, Lena."
Katie nodded, sighing. "Thank goodness..." she said, looking to the 'M' etched in her shoulder.

Cachen nodded. "...You know, I wish I had a power like Lena and Tai...they're cool."
"You and Katie are a cute couple too." said Balto.
"We'll make him regrate it!" said Lena, smiling.
"If its any comfort, imagine what Mako will do to Titan for letting you escape." said Lenatai.

Goldie smiled softly, cocking her head to the side. "You don't realize you do, silly boy?" she asked, giggling lightly.
Kodi nodded. "I know..." he said, thinking over the things they had said to one another.
"Oh, no..." Kai said "He won't be around long enough to regret this..." he said seriously.
At this, a smile began creasing Katie's face in a wicked way.

"Huh?" asled Cachen. "What do you mean?"
"And this'll make you closer in the end." said Balto.
Lena giggled. "You're always such of tough puppy."
"And that he's skunked." said Lenatai.

Goldie smirked knowingly, as if it were some huge secret. She gently rubbed her cheek to his. "Everyone around you, anyone you touch gets touch by your good fortune--and you." she said softly, smiling. "I'm living proof.'
Kodi sighed and nodded, guilt aching in him. "I know..."
Kai sighed. "It's not about being tough--it's about knowing what's right and wrong...namely, Mako's wrong and we're right in our morals and actions."
Bashkei glanced at Kai, giving a tired smile. This pup would make a good leader.
"Please," Katie said with an evil look in her sweet eyes. "Not until I'm strong enough to take in all the joy." she joked with an evil little chuckle.

Cachen blushed. "Gee...you really think that Goldie?"
Lena nodded. "Yeah, that seems right to me."
Lenatei nodded, then smelled sulfer. "I smell sulfer...in these areas, that normally means a hotspring, right?"

"You should know better," said Goldie "With you, I don't think, I know." she said softly, licking his nose in an affectionate way.
Kai smirked a little bit, his mind concentrated on the task ahead of him.
Katie nodded, smiling. "But is anything normal with us?" she asked jokingly.

Cachen blushed. "Gee...thanks Goldie." he said, licking her back.
"Grandpa Bashkai, you think like Kai, right? Momma said he acted like you." said Lena.
"Still, it'd be more comfortable than washing off in the cold." said Lenatai.
