Luke nuzzled Dusty as well. "I know how you feel." he said. "Titan...he...my mom, he..." he burst into tears and buried his face in Dawne's fur. "...So much blood...." he muttered, remembering his mother's throat being torn out before his eyes...there was a lot of blood.
"OH you poor thing!" said Dusty, imdiately forgeting her own pain and trying to comfort the poor pup.
"Hey!" yelled Titan. "You shouldn't be free!"
Fang jumpped onto Mammoth's back and then kept running around the yard.
Mako grabbed Steele's throat and drove his fist into Steele's wind pipe, not only would it be painful, it would knock the wind out of him.

Dusty groaned as she cuddled closer to Dawne to keep the pup warm and comfort him. "Poor baby." she muttered, feeling terible that someone could do something so cruel as to take a mother away from the pup that still needed her so much.
Mako got his whip and wrapped it around Steele's neck. Before he could tighten it, Balto jumpped in and tackled him.
"He didn't hold up his bargun." said Balto. "Are you alright bro?"
Titan snarled and flailed.
Fang laughed at Mammoth. He stopped suddenly and smashed his head into Mammoth's knee, not knowing about how bad Mammoth's knees were.

Luke smiled to Dawne and Dusty. "Thank you!" he said. He looked at Dawne. "Are you Iron's mate?" he asked.
Balto jumpped at Mako but was punched in the jaw and staggered back, Mako might of lost his weapon but he was still tough.
Mako punched Steele's jaw.
Fang saw this and kicked him again, not knowing he could do severe damage to MAmmoth's knees.
Titan growled and bit at him.

Luke looked nervious. "I'm an orphan...could...could you and Iron...maybe be...my...new momma and papa?"
Balto drove his head into Mako's gut. He got behind him. And nodded to Steele, telling him to knock Mako back so he'd trip over Balto.
Titan saw what Fang was doing. "Wait! Please stop!" he said. "We...give up..." he said. "Please just stop hitting Mammoth's knees like that...he's got a problem with his knees...if they're damaged too badly he could lose the ability to walk." he said, caring deeply for his brother, they were really all each other had.
Fang stopped. "It that true?"

Luke nuzzled Dawne. "Thank you momma." he said.
"So that means he's now Balto's brother." said Dusty with a chuckle. Suddenly police sirens roared through the air. "Let met guess, your owner finally reported Iron was missing and then the police heard the commocion here."
"You two'd better get out of here, the pound normally puts fighting dogs to sleep if they know that's what you are." said Fang.
"In all honesty, we're only fighting dogs because we feel we have nothing else we could be." said Titan. "Come on Mammoth." he said, helpping his brother towards the woods.
Mako fell back and his clothes got caught in the chainmail fence. "Come on! I know you want to kill me." he said, wanting Steele to do it, knowing Steele would be put to sleep as well. The sirens reached them.

Luke followed his mother to the window. "Momma...will they know your my momma?"
"I bet they're looking for you." said Fang to his grandfather. "Oh and by the way, I'm your grandson, as is Cain, my brother." he said. "We're Steele's sons."
Mako smirked. "I don't." he said and pulled a pistol from his belt and fired at Steele, Balto took the bullet for his brother. Suddenly police ran in and cuffed Mako, some of them checking on Balto.
"Are you ok Steele?" asked Balto, in a lot of pain.

"Hey somebody mind helpping me over so I can see?" asked Dusty, good naturedly.
Fang smiled. "Me to." he said but then his blood ran cold when he heard the gun shot.
"I think I'll be alright." said Balto. "Doesn't feel like anything importent got hit." he said. He looked at the wound. "Got my shoulder, think its lodged in there..." he said. He tried to move but the police man wouldn't let him. He tried to move his shoulder but cried out in pain. "I think...my shoulder is broken." he said.

"We beat MAko...I got shot but don't worry." said Balto. "Just busted up my shoulder a little." he said. "I'll be fine, this give Jenna an excuse for me to stay in the shed with her." he said with a smile, thinking of his beutiful mate.
Fang was relieved Balto's injury wasn't very major. He ran to Iron. "Iron, come see you sons, they both came to help you."
Dusty got up as best she could by herself and leaned on Dawne for support.
Luke stayed close to his mother.
