Luna: That's a hard question to answer. I guess I would have tried to forgive him, but I'm not sure I could have brought myself to. I like to think I could be that forgiving, but it would have been hard if I hadn't already known he was so nice.

Ipiktok: Do you ever affiliate with Canadians and if so are they as crazy as people say they are?

Pete: Who do you think best captures you're apperance on this site, visually wise.

Ipiktok: A few, but they're not really that strange. At least not to me. Things up here get rough, so you don't always tend to notice those distinctions as much when you're focused on getting along so you can stay alive.


Pete: Eh, I dunno. Some of them get my color right, but the shape doesn't look like me, and some get it the other way around.

Toby: How long do you think you will live if no accidents or unexpected occurences work to shorten your lifespan?

Pete: I know you now refer to Terry as Mom again, but I've never heard you call Toby "Bro" or "Brother" etc. Is it still hard for you to do so or do you still not consider him your full fledged brother?

Toby: Does is surprise you that Balto has a website dedicated to him?

Toby: Probably pretty old. With any luck I should live into my early to mid-teens.


Pete: He's my brother, I guess. I just ain't in the habit of calling him that, so I just call him Toby.


Toby: Hardly.

Pete: If you could go anywhere in the world (besides Alaska XD) Where would you go?

Pete: Heh, I dunno. I heard Russia's kinda nice.

Pete: When you're dad died and you heard the news did you cry or did you keep that emotion down like guys tend to do.

Pete: Nah, I didn't... well, maybe a little.
Terry: He died inside. I wanted to comfort him, but I didn't see how I could when I felt like I was responsible.

For everone: When was the last time you cried, and I mean actually cried (not over sports).

Terry: When I heard Pete was dead, and then again when I found out he was alive. But the second one was different.
Toby: Same here, but I managed to hold onto it a bit longer when I saw him. Right about until when I saw Mom cry.
Luna: I lost it when Toby told me the news too.
Rex: I don't cry easily, but I shed a tear or two when he said he was sorry for everything.
Pete: I cried when Trixie said she'd give me another chance.

Pete: Do you want to follow in your fathers foot steps and become a racing dog, or do you want to try out to join the mail team?

Toby: Which do you think a crazier adventure: You and Luna in the Southwest, you and Rex through the South, or you and Pete in New York City?

Luna: If Toby contacted you by telegram saying he was in New York and would be staying there for a week with his brother what would your enitial emotions be and how much trouble would he be in?


Trixie: Same question as Luna, but with Pete.

Rex: Do you feel important in your position as best tracker on the force, or does it make you lonley having so few dogs like yourself?

Pete: Well, his team was racing for the chance to be the mail team. He said humans call it free enterprise or something like that.


Toby: Good question. I've heard New York can be a rough place with the people and dogs, but dad says the south had some nasty wildlife, like snakes and stuff. I guess being in New York with Pete would be tougher; at least with Dad in the south I'd have a guide.


Luna: I'd be annoyed he hadn't told me before he left. I'd worry about him too, but at least I wouldn't be afraid of Pete trying to hurt him or anything. I'd miss having him around, though, especially with the pups. They're really attached to him, as they should be.
Trixie: I don't think I'd worry so much about Pete. He's always roaming around, and he can be a rough-and-tumble guy when he has to.


Rex: I'm proud to uphold the law and the safety of Nome's citizens in any manner. But yes, it does get to be a rather heavy load knowing that if anything were to happen to me, the police force would be missing a vital component. It makes it much easier knowing Toby is capable of taking up the torch if I should drop it for any reason.

Toby: What would you do if you found a two pound gold nugget in the woods?

Pete: What sort of bad behaviours do you still retain? I know when I had my change of heart that I was very slow to change and still struggle with things to this day.

Toby: (perplexed) I don't know. Dogs don't have much use for gold. Maybe I'd give it to my humans, or maybe to Luna as a gift. Of course, she doesn't have much use for it either.


Pete: Lotsa things. It still ain't easy to tell the truth, and sometimes I catch myself saying stuff I shouldn't or getting too rough in a spat.
