Kisasi laughed as he realized that was exactly what he and Hatima do. "Yeah I guess that's just how we resolve our fights." Kisasi said as he butted Karani in the shoulder with his head.

Kisasi woke the next morning to cold emptiness beside him. Where's Hatima? He thought. He gazed across the cave and realized that Karani was gone too. He stood and stretched then padded out of the cave, trying to find their scents in the foggy morning air.

Kisasi couldn't distinguish Karani's and Hatima's scents from the heavy fog. He gazed around and spotted two sets of footprints in the mud. He padded over and sniffed at them, picking out the lionesses scents. Where are they going? He thought. He followed the foot prints until the fog swallowed him whole.
