Maybe if I were sober I'd know what to do, what was right, what wasn't. But I was horribly drunk, my judgement was foggy. I was walking along a bridge when I looked over the edge. I sniffled and wiped my nose.
"Maybe if I were dead...Maybe then he'd love me..." I sniffled. I walked over to the edge of the bridge and pressed myself against the safty railing. I looked down at the foamy water, it was a huge drop. I faltered then thought for a few moments, unsure of my reasonings. I knew how to swim just fine, but that was a rather large drop.
"Come on, I can do this, s'not like they'll miss me that much..." I muttered begining to climb the safty rail. I dropped to the ledge and kept a tight grip on the rail. My other hand held Lydia. I took a deep breath, readying myself to jump.

Arthur drove along the bridge until he saw Riley climbing over the safety rail. He slammed on the brakes, and hopped out of the car.
"RILEY!" He yelled, just as it began to rain. He dashed over to her, grabbing her around her middle, trying to pull Riley back.
"What the he** are you doing!?" Arthur demanded, tears dripping from his eyes.

I blinked, feeling a pressure around my middle "Umm...I think I was...about to kill myself..." I said, confused. I blinked again, as if comfirming my though "Yeah, that's what I was doing...Because...Life isn't worth living anymore...?" I commented, acting as if standing on the edge of a 40-foot bridge about to jump off was something I did everyday.

Arthur buried his face in her shoulder and he climbed over the rail to get a better grip on Riley, so he could get her on the other side.
"No! No..riley..I love you, you cant d-" Arthur began before he lost his footing. He slipped, and the only thing holding him on was a loose grip he had on a bar no the side of the bridge.

I cursed when he slipped and grabbed his other hand, but in doing that I let go of my own grip. I leaned forward and back, trying to balance myself. I looked at my bass, and frowned. I let go of my grip on Lydia and gripped the railing "Don't let go!" I called to him, the rain and wind making me cold. I climbed over the railing, my grip still on Arthur's hand and struggled to pull him up. "Alfred! I could use a hero!" I called, feeling my hands lip on Arthur's hand.

Alfred perked, and jumped out of the car when he saw Arthur fall, and he ran over.
"SH** IGGY!" He shouted over the roaring thunder. He grabbed Riley and used all of his force to pulled her over. Alfred climbed over the safety rail then, and grabbed Arthur's hands, yanking him upwards. Alfred held the shaking Brit close as he climbed back over the railing and led them both to the car.

I frowned as I was lead into the car, I got into the back seat and looked at Arthur with concern. His face was pale, his eyes wide, his hands shaking. I frowned at this then looked at Alfred, who seemed so calm and collected. I felt my breating catch, I looked at him. My love for my 'brother' burning a little deeper than just that. But no, I loved Arthur. Right? Could I even trust Arthur anymore? I didn't think so, I couldn't. I looked at Alfred, my hero, and sighed "Thanks Alfred..." I muttered, then looked at my hands "Refusing to look at Arthur.

Arthur couldn't speak, he seemed to be in shock. Alfred simply flashed a smile as he began to drive them home.
"What else are hero's for?" He asked, before looking at Arthur with concern.
"Keep your eyes on the road you idiot." Ian growled, speaking up for the first time. Alfred nodded, driving home.

I smiled smally and then looked at Arthur again, I didn't want to talk to him.
"How was Scottland?" I asked Alfred, trying not to focus on the fact that I lost my favorite bass and I'd almost died.

"It was epic! And..green! Theres a lotta grass there, and lotsa hills!" He explained, happily driving down Arthur's street before pulling into his friend's driveway.
"Common Iggy." Alfred said, opening Arthur's door, and pulling the Brit out, who, was still frozen in fear. Ian took Arthur in his arms, and carried him inside.

I fallowed behind numbly and nodded at Alfred's responce "Sounds like you had a better day then me" I said, poking Alfred in the stomach and letting myself giggle a bit.

Ian set Arthur down on the couch and began whispering something to him, that seemed to bring the brit out of shock, but he was still pale and shaky.
"Yeahh..But hey! You got Arthur back!" Alfred said, not knowing about the situation.

I shook my head "No, that's not what happened. I don't want him back...He'll tell you whatever he wants. I'm moving back into my old room...For now..." I muttered looking at my feet, wanting a hug right then.

"But..Riley.." Alfred said confusedly, following her upstairs. "What happened? Clearly Arthur still loves you...what- why dont you love him back?"

I frowned and turned to Alfred, who was a bit too close "He broke up with me...For that filthy frenchman...He told me to leave Alfred, to leave.. He said 'get out'.So I did...He hurt me...He said I was tearing you two apart...He made me feel like the biggest b*tch in the world. And it's taken me up until now to realize that all he is for me is bad. He's just pain with bits and peices of good parts...I'm done with him..." I said, begining to sob.
