Raven blushed. "Well maybe.... well Rio likes the poodle even thought its older then him."

Ruger tilted his head to one side and asked "How old are they and what are their names?"

"Rio's one. The poodle, Samina, is four. And the yellow lab is 2 and her name is Kara."

"Kira and Samina. You said Kara with as much passion when I say Calico. I wonder how she feels about you. You need to approach her, Raven, and tell her how you feel about her and she will get swept off of her paws if she doesn't have a mate because all females like to know that a male cares for her and that she means the world to him. Otherwise, you shouldn't give up; instead, you should fight harder to win her if you truly love her."

"You really think so?" Raven said with sparkling eyes.

Ruger smiled and said "With that sparkle in your eyes while you tell her how you feel will let her know that you are telling the truth. You love Kara...." He got a sparkle in his eyes that all of the dogs could see and continued "... as much as I love Calico. If you tell her how you feel then she will probably love to be your mate, Raven. Do you have anything to add Callie?"

Calico sighed. "Well, your the male and your trying to give the male advice, as I can only help with females." She said.

Raven sighed. "Now I really want to ask her."

Ruger smiled at Raven and said "Don't worry my friend. Lead us to the two but lead us to Kara first. I will keep your brother back and wait with Calico when you say you see her; so, you can have some alone time with her. So, lead on and we will follow you."

Raven nodded, and begain to walk down the street. He turned into an alley.

Ruger followed Raven but kept an eye on Rio.

Raven lept onto a dumpster. He from there was high enough to bounce onto a humans apperment porch. He barked.

Ruger looked up at Raven and yelled "Is this her place?"

"Yep. Kara's a pet who wants to be wild." Raven said. He scratched on the back door.

Kara barked at her own and her owner let her out the back door without looking outside and without noticing Raven. Kara tilted her head at Raven and asked politely "What is it, Raven?"

Once Raven said that, Ruger grabbed a hold of Rio and dragged him back with him. HE looked at Calico and whispered "Give them some privacy, Callie."

Calico nodded, easily understanding. She slipped outbeside Rio and Ruger.

"Well, erm, Kara... I love you..." He said. He starting it out with that, but he never told anyone that before.
