Cody inched over to Shay and said "You ready?" He inched over even nearer to her.

Cody chuckled and said "No, not that. We are going to howl as mates, as one. You ready?"

Cody said "I am ready for both also but we need to howl first, though, because the others won't howl and mate until we howl. That is what the last group howl is about. Showing who are mates and I am ready to stake my claim and I think you are too, aren't you."

Cody said with pure impatience "Okay. 1 ... 2 ... 3 .... now." Cody howled hoping that Shay would howl with him and do step one of the mating bond with him.

Cody seen the power radiating off of Shay and poured all of his heart into his howl too. Once their combined howl was over, there were other combined howls that answered it at different places and one really close to them. Cody looked at Shay and said with a evil smile "Look at that. We aren't going to be the only ones who are going to be busy around here."

Cody chuckled and said "Okay here I come." Cody moved to the back of Shay and jumped on her and started humping her slowly and then he did it a little harder. Soon, he was spilled into his mate and said through their mate bond, that they now established, "Your pretty, Shay. I love you." Then, he got off of her and fell to the ground panting.

Cody licked Shay's muzzle and said between pants "Now, ... the males won't bother you .... anymore because .... now you smell like me."
