After awhile they reached a small clearing with a stream. The big wolf had gave up on running, knowing they would continue to pursue no matter what. When they reached him he was drinking out of the stream.

Grace dragged Ienzo off into a secluded area "I don't know if you have realized this but I think Rusty has a problem that he can't control. So take it easy with him. He realized he did wrong and is now apologizing for it and is paying off his dividends for it as well. So just go easy on him okay? He doesn't mean to hurt your feelings he can't control it."
