(Thanks^^ I'd prefer her to be the younger one)

Amali's eyes widened as she saw her mate's eyes opening to a slit. He's alive, she thought happily.

Just then, one of the newborn cubs, the one looking like her, gave a tiny mewl. She bent down and licked the cub.

(Oh, that's fine with me^^ Aleksei can be the overprotective big brother then XD)

Hearing the cub's mewl, Sergei raised his head opening his eyes now properly, and as he saw the two cubs Amali was holding, he felt his life strength rushing back in his body.

- Amali... he whispered, laying his head back on his paws.

(That's always a great story^^ and I was thinking they could have a run-in with a hyena and that gives her a scar on her face. I'll have the image up as soon as possible)

Amali stared at him, joy filling her up like water filling up a coconut shell.

"Sergei..." she answered, laying her two cubs on the ground and walking over to her mate.

(Sounds great! We'll do that. By the way, here's my newest jaguar character I thought of posting on Jungle Boo source^^
http://i46.tinypic.com/4rrdac.png her name is Malaya. What do you think of her? )

- Are... are those... Sergei whispered, looking at the two little cubs in the ground and happy tears slowly filled his eyes.

(She's great! I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing her^^)

Amali pressed her nose into his mane, happy tears streaking down her face. "Yes," she told him, "They're ours."

(Aww really? In that case I'm going to put her up! ^^ By the way, here's my Jungle Book source gallery http://www.animationsource.org/jungle_b ... 25695.html )

Sergei looked at the cubs, happy tears rolling down on his cheeks, as he nuzzled his mate back.

- They're so beautiful.

(WOW! The graphics are amazing! And Malaya's pretty cool as well^^)

Amali smiled once then used her tail to bring the cubs between her and Sergei so that he could see them clearly.

"What do you want to name them?"

(Well, do you think you could possibly fave me then? There's no point in making images no one's interested in...)

Sergei tilted his head, as he looked at the cubs, and then looked at the boy who looked more like him.

- Well, I think we should name the boy Aleksei. That means defender, he suggested, looking at Amali.

(You'll see a comment and fave before you know it )

"That's perfect. And for the girl, I was thinking Anuli."

(Appreciated it, buddy! )

- That's a great name, Sergei said with a smile, and nudged Amali on her cheek.

(And I'll have Anuli's design up as soon as I can )

Amali bent down and picked up her cubs one by one and placed them on her mate's paws.

"They'll be running around you before you know it. Best enjoy the moment while it lasts," she joked.

(Okay, can't wait to see her!^^)

Sergei smiled, as Amali places the cubs on his paws, and looked at them with a proud father's eyes.

- Yeah... they sure were worth fighting for.

(here she is-> http://www.animationsource.org/lion_kin ... mart=18660)

"I'd give my life for them if I had to without a second thought." Amali softly said.

(I love her! Should we put them up now?)

- Well, I almost did, Sergei said, and raised his head, looking Amali in the eyes.

(Thanks^^ sure, they are part of the story now)

Amali nuzzled him.

"And don't do that again."
