Jaidee stretched and yawned, "I'm up for it." Jaidee padded out to the porch. "fresh snow guys!" Jaidee smiled back at them. The air was fresh and the snow was clean. Jaidee licked up some snow off of the ground. Tastes good.

Jaq barked as he stepped out into the cool morning air. He breathed in the sweet scent of the cold fresh snow as it crunched gentley beneath his light-weight paws. Running throughout the town happily as he made a beeline to the forest. Oh it felt so good to be out!

I followed Jaq out of the cave, head held high, feeling alive. "Its such a nice morning..." I said.

"It is". Jaq replied happily as he reached the forest. Sniffing the air he sighed happily as he began to chase a rabbit.

I slinked behind Jaq, watching him chase the rabbit.

I growled as I chased the large hare. He dashed ahead of me obviously knowing what he was doing. Ah,it felt good to run again. Jaq sped up and lunged but the rabbit made a zigzag to the trees and was lost. Jaq looked about confused."I've never seen this part of the forest"... He mused to himself as he padded on through the thick snow."It's kinda dark". He continued to explore unaware of the lurking danger.

Jaidee followed Jaq and Akira. "Yeah, this part is kinda dark." The trees weren't as lush as Jaidee remembered. Not only was it dark but it had an eerie feeling to it.

Bandit was behind, looking around.

"Uh, guys. This part of the forest doen't look all that safe, ya know," He said. "Are you sure we're in the right forest?" He joked.

Jaidee laughed, "Yeah, we must have made a wrong turn or something." Jaidee padded a little further then came a loud snap of a tree. Jaidee stopped and gulped. "I don't think we are alone guys...."

Bandit baared his teeth in the direction of the sound.

"Show yourself," He growled.

"I don't think we want it to show itself, Bandit....It sounds big." Jaidee wasn't sure what was going to come out but he hoped it wasn't dangerous.

I saw a figure, a big figure. Lurking around near Bandit and and Jaidee. It was unaware of me, so quickly and quietly I rushed over to Bandit and Jaidee. " Jaidee! Bandit!" I howled. Slowly the figure started to stomp towards them. And there was no time to loose, I jumped out and shoved Jaidee and Bandit out of the way, leaving me in its path.

Jaidee heard his name being called then was suddenly pushed out of the way. He looked up to see Akira in the way of a beast, and not just any beast, a bear. The bear went for Akira, but not quick enough. Jaidee sprung to his feet and lept for the bears back, biting the scruff of its neck. The bear roared with pain trying to shake off Jaidee. Jaidee held on as long as he could til he finally fell. The bear had his attention on Jaidee now, which wasn't good. Jaidee hit a rock and busted his leg. He tried limping away, but he knew the bear could out run him even if his leg wasn't busted.

I rushed in front of Jaidee, yelping trying to get the bear's attention. Once he was focused on me, I stood between him and Jaidee, bearing my teeth and snarling. With one swipe of his paw, he knocked me of balance.

"Akira! Run away! I don't want you hurt too!" Jaidee got up trying not to put to much pressure on his front right leg. He stood next to her snarling at the bear.
