Xander sighed and used his hands to prop himself up. His cheeks where still slightly pink from embarrassment when he and Angie kissed. He smiled at the thought and looked over at Angie, he wanted to kiss he again but he looked back at the woods after glancing at Brook.

Arthur turned quickly, running into Alfred.
"Da****!" He barked, grabbing his hand and yanking the american up. Alfred began running behind Arthur, and he was the first one to re-enter the clearing. Arthur didn't show himself, he simply stood by a tree.
"Dudes! John's here. Like, from the lab, he followed our footprints!" Alfred panted, tiredly.

Brooklyn heard rustling and yelling from far ahead in the dark trees. The rustling got louder. She looked back at The others then back at the forest to find Alfred almost running over her along with Arthur who stopped in the woods. Brooklyn caught what Alfred was saying about John, and remembered that there was so guy named John back at the lab. He was the one that came up to her right before they escaped, but Arthur pulled her out in time before they could capture her. She let out a gasp... She first thought that they could take him on if there weren't others. But still she just didn't want to see and of the scientist right now. She looked at Arthur and ran over to him. "Come on Arthur... We have to go," she said to him. But she looked at the lake knowing he'd say no.

Arthur frowned, and shook his head.
"I-Brooklyn, I can't. I cant get in the...water.." He muttered quietly, so no one else could hear. He shivered and looked back at Alfred, who was looking around for him. Alfred jogged over and grabbed his hand.
"Come ON Artie! Scared of water or not we gotta go!" He pleaded, his blue eyes sparkled with fear. Arthur gulped and eyed the water, before looking at their hands.
"fine..." He whispered, and grabbed Brook's hand too. "Common." Alfred pulled him to the edge of the water, and Arthur almost froze up again.
"All you have to do is hold your breath, okay?" Alfred reassured him. Arthur cocked his head.
"But dont i have to swim...?" He asked. Alfred chuckled.
"Nope, im gonna swim us across." He stated, and wrapped Arthur's arms around his neck, pulling him onto his back. Arthur gasped quietly and took a large breath when Alfred dived into the lake.

Brooklyn watched the two jump into the lake. Brooklyn did take swimming lessons in 5th grade so she knew what to do. She looked back at her friends still on land and saw John slowy coming through the trees. Brooklyn breathed in the cold air and jumped into the water. She almost stopped let out her breath when the water touched her body. It was freezing but she kept swimming.

I gulped, I couldn't get my wings wet. I looked at Xander, Angelica, and Jack. "Angie, I could fly you over..." I offered, I could probably handel her wieght. I looked at John mae his way behind her, he was still a goot 75 feet, but it still scared me "Come on Angelica, yes or no?!" I asked, walking over to her.

Alfred swam quickly. Multiple times Arthur nearly fell off, and had a panick attack. On the other side, Alfred pulled himself out of the water with a gasp. Arthur rolled off of him, shaking and shivering, though not for being cold. He breathed shakily, and gasped multiple times.
"You gonna survive Iggy?" Alfred asked, pulling his friend away from the water's edge and up under a tree.

Brooklyn fianlly got to land and climbed out of the freezing water. She was shivering like crazy. Brooklyn also sqeezed some of the water out of her long brown hair. She then crossed her arms trying to get warm and walked over to sit by a tree near Arthur and Alfred. "I'm- I'm never doing that agian," She said while her teeth chattered. She put her knees up to her chest and watched the puffs of smoke come out of her mouth. Then the next moment she let out a small sneeze and sniffed. She better not be catching a cold...

Arthur nodded to Alfred, and smiled the tiniest bit.
"I-I'll live." He stated, then Alfred sat down on his right side. When Brooklyn sat down next to Alfred, he stretched an arm over her shoulder and pulled her head down onto his chest.
"Don't worry Brook, we'll keep you and Artie warm." He said, stretching his arm out over Arthur's other shoulder.

Brooklyn eyes widened a little when someone put their arm aound her pulling her close, but then Brooklyn heard Alfred's voice and she smiled rolling her eyes playfully. She was glad she was friends with these two. Soon the shivering slowed a litttle but she was still pretty cold and still wet. Brook looked up wondering were the others were. "I hope nothing happened back there," she mumered.

Alfred chuckled, and gave Brooke's shoulder a squeeze.
"Im sure they'll all be here soon." He said, then looking at Arthur, who'd fallen silent. He was simply staring at the water, a blank expression on his face.

Angelica noticed Alfred coming back, she stuttered; "J-John?" When they said his name. She never really knew what to think about it. Sometimes, he seemed like a genuinely nice guy, but other times he was just plain cruel. Angelica then saw Arthur, and her eyes widened, she didn't even realize she was shivering. "I've got to stay away from him, he's unpredictable..." She thought as she stepped a few steps back, watching his every move. She saw Alfred take him across.
Angelica turned to Riley, and smiled, "Alright," She said as she waited for Riley to help her get across.

John didn't even got a chance to say a words as both of them ran off. "D****t," He cursed as he watched them go. "I've got to be more careful next time." He thought, as he waited for them to move across the river. Only then he will begin to follow them, again. "Maybe I could make a deal with them? They give me that fox-girl, and they don't get hurt. I'll probably have to talk about it to a person that hates her the most... But who could that be..." He wondered, he remembered the fight between Angelica and Arthur. "They probably don't hate each other enough just yet, but I'll make sure that British guy begins to hate her more and more." He thought.
"Wait, no," he thought, he realized that they won't listen to him as he's not intimidating at all alone. He picked up his bag and searched for his mobile phone. He dialed Bob, who picked up almost immediately.
"Yes?" John heard the tall man say.
"Hey, look, Robert, I've got a job for you, Tom and Oscar," He spoke silently.
"Where the h*** are you?" Robert asked as he heard the sounds of the forest.
"I'm not letting the teens escape as easily as that, Bob. I'm following them. I'm currently near the river, next to a big tree. Right now can't talk to you much, and can't give you much directions..." He spoke as he looked at the teens, swimming across, "But I'll see you. Just don't go directly through the main entrance. Remember to go where the teens broke the window and only then go straight ahead." John added as he clicked a little red button and put his mobile phone in his pocket.

As Jack saw others running away, he also jumped into the water and started to swim. He was a pretty good swimmer, and he could swim really fast, especially that he was a horse now. Water was really cold, but he managed to catch up to Alfred and Arthur soon. He looked back to see if no one else was following them.

I grabbed Angie under her arms and began flapping rapidly. Flying should be interesting with two people, even more so because I was shorter than her. I huffed as we left the ground and spun her around so that her back was to me. It was awkard, yes, but I wondered if she would like flying. The river wasn't all the wide, so we got across easily. I put her down as gently as possible and then, clumsily, did a half flip and handed on my back. The wind was knocked out of me and I scrambled for breath "D-definatly n-need to work o-on t-the l-l-landing" I huffed, about to sit up. It was completely dark now, but John was just on the other side of that river, we had to keep moving. I scrambled to my feet and looked at everyone, my eyes fell on the horse form of Jack. Horses usually scared my, but I was strangely attracted to his horse form. I walked over solemnly and patted his neck "Hi Jack..." I muttered, realizing I hadn't talked to him since we'd gotten out.
