Ellis nodded to Dymitri, knowing his a** would be handed to him for sure. He stepped forward and grabbed Damien's hand before he could even hold it out. "Truce." he said, but then leaned in closer, locking his dark green eyes with Damien's deep blue, and whispered, "But you better watch your back, buddy-boy."

Ellis smirked back when Damien added his bit, and then replied in a whisper, "Do my best."
Tara gently lifted her head, wiping a few tears away from her cheeks. She breathed a sigh of relief that the fight was over. For now, anyways.

Tara smiled and hugged Chase tighter. "Thank you Chasie." she thanked quietly in her sweet voice.
Kyler put a hand over her heart, sighing out of relief as well.
Carmen crossed her arms, disbelieving the whole thing. "Hopefully now you two will stay alive for while longer, what with you guys being all homicidal over each other."

Kyler simply stood there, staring at the ground. If it weren't for her, Damien and Ellis wouldn't be fighting. Damien probably would've learned more about his power by now, if it weren't for her. She felt like she was holding him back, like if she had never met him, he would've met his destiny already. She wrung her hands behind her back, still happy for the truce, but knowing that the truce wouldn't have had to be created if it weren't for her.
Ellis crookedly grinned back, giving a quick, single nod in response.
