Russet decided to take a nap, seeing that he could no longer walk. He rested under a bush and soon fell asleep.

When he woke, he stirred a bit, still tired. He stretched and began walking again, working his sore muscles. As he was in sight of the house he perked up and began running, not caring if he was sore and hurting.

As he smacked through the door he stood wide-eyed. "Delilah?" he asked, only to hear his echo. He sniffed around for her, but the scent was old and wasn't found out of the door.(She was on Julius' back, so he didn't smell her.)

He sat back on his haunches. She's left..... not even caring if I came back, he thought, shuddering in anger and sadness. His eyes were beginning to tear and his heart ached. "I'm sorry I ever left. I still love you." he whispered to himself.

OOC: I know, but it's all in the name of a good role play that she doesn't. Lol Adds good suspense.

Russet thought of never seeing his pups, never seeing Delilah. He yelped loudly, just with the thought. He tried to fall asleep but he couldn't. How could he? He lay down, shaking violently. He frowned and growled when he realized what happened. "Julius, that bas****. He did this." He went outside and sat next to a pond. He stared at his reflection and saw Julius once more. He saw Delilah staring at him with anger and sadness. His heart hurt more than ever, seeing her face, and his tear fell into the pool. The image changed and he perked up and smiled as he saw Delilah nuzzling him and looking proudly down at their pups. "I have to find her. I can't just leave her." His ears snapped forward and he got up in a second, sniffing the air frantically for a scent. He decided that he would just look around until he found a more recent scent instead of waiting for one. He padded off into the distance, a new fiery look in his eyes.

OOC: This roleplay is started to get very "aww..." in parts. Lol.

Russet ran, the sky graying and fading beside him. "Julius," he growled, "You're going to pay after what you did. After everything you've done." He ran at a quick pace, exhausted, but the thought of having Delilah with him again pushed him farther on. "Delilah," he whispered, "I'm sorry. After everything we went through. You mean so much to me and I'd fix this if I could. I don't know where I went wrong, I...." He trailed off, his pain unbearable. He stopped, panting. "I just put myself first and it got in the way. I promise I'll never do that again. I'll never lie to you and you know that. I'm sorry." He hung his head low and began again, trying to sniff the ground for any scent of Julius.

Russet looked up at the stars and smiled a bit. The moon was almost full and there were a few stars in the sky. He then howled loudly, a wolf's howl, to the moon. He knew he was close. He could feel it.

Russet perked up and grinned as he sniffed the air-- well, he was happy he found a scent, not Julius-- and scent Julius and a bit of Delilah. He followed the scent and growled as he saw Julius gaurding at the door. He was farther down the hill that Russet was on which Russet easily flew down. He tensed as he saw Julius.

OOC: You'll be back later, right? Because now it's getting better...

Russet winced a bit as he looked into Julius' eyes. "Look, Julius I know you're upset at me after what happened, but if I could just talk to Delilah...." His voice was soft as he spoke. He came closer to Julius, trying to get to the door.

Russet shook his head. He spoke softly again, though his voice was gruff. "Julius, please, I don't wan't to start anything and if I tell you... I'm afraid of what the reaction might be."

OOC: Ouch. That would've scared me.

Russet gulped. He didn't look up at Julius, because he didn't want to have to see the burning eyes filled with hatred. He sauntered a bit away from Julius.

He turned around and hung his head low as he spoke. "I.... wanted to be with my kind as well, with other wolves, to feel a bit more like a wolf. So I went to go see the wolf pack you were talking to..... About two days ago, they told me they were leaving and as a member I had to go with them. I tried to leave, but I wasn't even allowed to say goodbye. Yesterday, my father found the pack and tried to kill me. He killed the Alpha, but left when I ordered. I then decided to come back, which nearly froze me on the way. I knew that I couldn't leave Delilah.... it would be too painful, so that's why I'm here. To try and fix what I've done." He gulped and swung his head up. He grinned sheepishly at Julius, and tried to get closer to the door.
