Spyro carried on leaping at Ganet, ignoring the blood that was now streaming down his head and the pain that was still resounding through his bones. He just kept going back to Ganet, as if they were the only two there, and as if he wouldn't live if Ganet wasn't killed. That was the only thing that mattered now, to kill Ganet.
'Well what I mean is that no dragon has ever reverted to their feral state, and then managed to turn back to their sentient state after a while, that just doesn't happen, they stay feral' Cynder said. Her legs felt weak so she sat down, unable to take in what she was seeing. Spyro was bleeding badly from cuts everywhere, but he didn't seem to care.
Kar watched, amazed yet horrified at Spyro's behaviour. Is Malefor doing this to him was his first thought, but after listening to the others' conversation he knew that wasn't true. He took a few steps towards the two fighting creatures, but he was still far away from them. He shook his head in wonder, wishing he could help, but what could he do, he was just a small weak dragon with oversized wings, and he was a freak.

Link shruged. "Well he came back from his feral state once." he said. "If he can't on his own, Midna can help him, trust me, there's no animal, which in his feral state one could consider Spyro an animal, that she can't handle."
"Not to brag but its true." said Midna. "Now I'd suggest we help take this big ape down before Spyro gets himself killed."
"Good idea." said Zelda. She pulled out her bow and started shooting arrows at Ganet.
The massive ape tossed Spyro away again, this time bashing his head off a tree before having to block the arrows.
"In my experience fighting evil poccessed apes, attacking from behind normally helps." said Link. "As weird as that sounds, this isn't the first time I fought something like this."

Spyro felt the searing pain, and lay unmoving at the base of the tree. The whole world was spinning and seemed to be made of liquid as it shimmered and swirled. He could just about make out the blurred forms of Link and Zelda attacking the monkey, and further away the even more blurred form of Cynder. He shook his head, snarled, and stood up. The blurriness didn't leave, but it reduced, and Spyro threw himself at Ganet's side, clawing and biting madly.
Cynder stayed by Zelda, watching everyone attack Ganet. She was waiting for her chance to get a few good attacks in, but the monkey was guarding itself well.
Kar crept round to the back of the monkey after overhearing what Midna had said. He watched, eyeing the furred form closely, but making no attempt to move. Like Cynder he was waiting for his moment, he knew there wasn't a lot he would be able to do and he would probably get hurt, but he had to try.

Link used his grapple shot to grab the monsterious ape's head, swinging around and landing on top. "Guys, attack him from behind, now!"
Zelda morphed into her fox form and leapt on the big ape, headbutting him in the gut and doubling him over to further expose his back.

Spyro had latched himself onto Ganet's neck and was pulling at fur and flesh to try and draw blood. It was working and Spyro found himself sticky with Ganet's blood, but it wasn't enough for him, Ganet had to be dead.
Cynder leapt after Zelda, leaping onto Ganet's head and onto his back while he was bent over. She looked over at Spyro who was soaked in blood, and she felt bile rise in her throat, but all the same she took a deep breath and unleashed a torrent of fire down Ganet's back. His fur caught fire instantly, and the smell of burning hair met her nose, it smelt horrible.
Kar steadied himself and the ran forwards and curled himself around Ganet's leg. His rough but small scales rubbed against his leg as he moved, and that rubbed away the fur and left the skin red raw. At the same time Kar was nipping at his leg, biting wherever he could.

Ganet threw them off, roaring, he stepted on Spyro's gut, pinning him to the ground and leveling his gun at his head.
Link leapt into the air and slashed through Ganet's arm, dropping the gun from his wrist, slicing it off and causing Ganet to recoil in pain as blood shot from the stump. He pulled out his bow and cocked it, taking aim. "Spyro, come to your senses and fire your light breath into my arrow!" he said.

Cynder felt herself being thrown off, but like a cat she twisted in mid-air and landed almost gracefully on all four paws. She nearly jumped back onto Ganet, but she saw he was crushing Spyro so held back.
Kar clung on tightly, refusing to let go. Because he was round Ganet's leg Ganet hadn't been able to shake him off, and he was curled round so tightly that if he was any tighter he would cut off the blood supply. As a feeble attempt to cause pain compared to having a limb chopped off, he resumed his slightly pathetic biting.
Spyro roared and winced at the pain. He saw the blood spilling from what was once Ganet's arm, and turned his head to Ganet's attacker. He saw Link with his bow aimed in his general direction, and instincts set it. This human was about to attack him, so he would defend himself the only way he could from a long distance. He opened his maw and a huge torrent of fire exploded out, racing towards Link's bow. It envelpoed the entire bow, as well as a small section of Link's arms.

"Not what I had in mind but it works." said Link as the enchanted arrowhead absorbed the fire. He fired it at Ganet, striking him in the forehead and exploding in a fireball.
Ganet fell to the ground with a big thud, his body disolving into black energy and leaving a beweildered Agent 9 behind along with the mask.
Midna flew over to the mask. "Looks like its power is still there but the black magic is gone, meaning any of us can use its power without risk now." she said. "I might want to hold onto that."
OOC: In The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, masks played a big role in the game, you got three main masks that let you transform into diffrent types of creatures, this mask allows them to turn into Ganet, only minus the cannons.
Zelda looked to Cynder. "Do dragons have anything against foxes?"

The sight of Agent 9 seemed to calm Spyro. He shook his head and blinked a few times, his eyes going cross-eyed for a few seconds. He ran a tongue around his mouth, and then said 'well did we win?'
'No, foxes are quite rare in our world, why?' Cynder replied to Zelda, but didn't wait for an answer. As soon as she heard Spyro's voice she whipped round and hurtled towards him. She knocked him over, a few tears rolling down her cheeks, and she just laughed.
When Kar felt Ganet fall he jumped away from him to safety. He sat and watched everyone else silently, a few tears coming to his eyes too.

Lucas took out a banana and handed it to Agent 9.
"Well I was wondering if I could help calm him down but I see that's not nessacery." said Zelda. "Spyro, we won."
"Hey guys, the mask's evil magic was destroyed but it'll let anyone transform into a form like it did Agent 9, only you can change back just by taking the mask off and are in complete control." said Midna. "So it could come in handy."

Spyro found himself bowled to the ground as Cynder jumped on top of him, laughing and crying, and he was a little surprised to say the least. 'Come on Cynder, it isn't like I died or something' he said, grinning at Cynder's also grinning face.
Cynder nodded but didn't say anything, she was just enjoying the moment. A sigh escaped her throat, and she relaxed her legs a bit and pretty much lay on top of Spyro. She rolled over off of him happily, lying on her back and just looking at Spyro.
'Oh, right, that's cool' Kar muttered, too quietly for Midna to hear. He didn't care, who would want to turn into a big monkey anyway, but he was worried. The creeping cold chill had returned, and he shuddered as it blazed down his back.

Zelda looked at Spyro. "Anyway, I think we should get the monkey home." she said. "Malfor brought him here so Malfor and Ganondorf's spell to fuse the worlds is dependent on him even if he isn't evil." she said. "You three were brought here by an accdental warp, so the spell isn't using you." she said. "Now that we've got Midna, she can make a normal Twilight Portal and then me and Cynder can amplify it to open it to your world to send Agent 9 back." she said. "Think we could convince him to help the good Red aid those under Ganondorf's opression?"

'Hmm' Spyro said in a dreamy way, but he blinked and sat up when Zelda finished. 'Uh, yeah, yeah he will help, he is a good guy so of course he will help, won't you?' he said quickly, clearing his through slightly. He watched as Agent 9 regarded him curiously, and then nodded his head vigorously.
Cynder rolled over and got to her feet, sighing and wondering why the moment had escaped them yet again. 'Alright then, lets get this portal made then, the sooner we get him through the better' she said, almost grumpily, but tried to hide her disappointment.
Kar turned to look at the others, the cold chill was getting worse, but it had to be his imagination, hadn't it? He shook his head and bowed his head, staring at the ground in distaste.

Midna nodded. "Alright, here we go!" she siad, concentraiting and forming a portal in the sky above them.
Zelda held up the Triforce and helpped supercharge the portal.

Cynder started to concentrate on the portal, trying to get it to connect with her world. She had a weird sensation of floating, but when she looked down her feet were planted firmly on the floor.
Kar looked up, worry crossing his face. This wasn't right, something bad was going to happen and it involved the portal. He jumped to his feet and ran towards Midna, crashing into her in an attempt to knock her over and stop her concentration. 'Don't open it, don't open it!' he shouted, right next to her ear.
